Lugar Asks For More Effort From Palestine

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - Indiana Senator Richard Lugar is calling on Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to “redouble his efforts” to win the release of two kidnapped fox news journalists.
Reporter Steve Centanni and cameraman Olaf Wiig appeared in a video released by their kidnappers yesterday, a week after they were taken hostage.
In a letter to Abbas, Lugar and Delaware Senator Joseph Biden say governments are responsible for doing everything in their power to ensure foreign journalists can operate freely.
