(BLOOMINGTON) - Former Ninth District Representative Baron Hill is using his campaign funds to cut gas prices, at least for a few minutes.
Hill has made pump prices a campaign issue as he tries to reclaim the seat he lost two years ago to Republican Mike Sdrel.
Wednesday, he manned a pump at a Bloomington Sonoco station on Fairfax Road. He charged drivers 2004 pump prices of $1.80 a gallon and made up the difference himself.
