(WEST LAFAYETTE) - Governor Daniels says he’ll ask next year’s general assembly to approve tax credits for alternative-fuel development.
Last year's legislature established similar credits for ethanol.
Daniels says Indiana had to play catch-up to become a player in the ethanol industry.
He told an energy summit at Purdue the state has a chance to be out front from the beginning in next-generation biofuels.
