(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - U.S. Senator Evan Bayh is encouraging Indiana high school students to participate in the United States Senate Youth Program.

The two outstanding students from the state, selected for the program, will receive a $5,000 college scholarship and spend a week in Washington visiting Capitol Hill, the White House, the Pentagon and the Supreme Court.

In addition to academic achievement, students will be selected based on leadership abilities and a strong commitment to public service.
