Anyone Really Know What Time It Is?

Last updated on Tuesday, August 15, 2006

(STATEHOUSE) - Governor Mitch Daniels has sent a letter to Acting Transportation Secretary Maria Cino asking that six counties have their clocks changed yet again.

Daniels says Daviess, Dubois, Knox, Martin and Pike counties should change from Central to Eastern Time and Pulaski County should make the opposite switch.

Daniels says in his letter the counties now realize they asked to be placed in the wrong time zone when the initial recommendations were handed down.

The governor says the state still has not escaped the question "what time is it in Indiana?"
