Two Weeks Left Before Consortium Takes Over Hoosier Toll Roads
(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels is faced with a June 30th deadline, to clear up the legal battle over his major moves transportation plan.
The company, which offered a $3.85-billion dollar bid to take over the toll road operations, could withdraw that bid if the legal battle is unsettled by the end of the month.
The legal briefs have been filed and oral arguments were presented to the State Supreme Court last week.
Although the governor is not predicting a victory, he's confident and believes the state's high court will hand down its ruling, within the next two weeks.
