State Senators Saying No To Health Care Perk

(STATEHOUSE) - Senate Democrats are renouncing a controversial health benefit.
Minority Leader Richard Young says the 15 Democrats planning to return to the Senate next year have agreed they won't accept a generous Senate health plan once they do retire.
Senators Allie Craycraft and Larry Lutz are stepping down this year. President Pro Tem Robert Garton lost last month's Republican Primary after refusing to join House Speaker Brian Bosma in abolishing the perk.
