Last updated on Friday, June 23, 2006

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - Indiana’s senators split their votes yesterday on one of two resolutions regarding the U.S. presence in Iraq.

Senator Evan Bayh voted against a John Kerry-sponsored resolution favoring almost immediate pullout of American troops, but for a motion signaling that the U.S. should "move toward withdrawl".

Senator Richard Lugar cast votes against both resolutions.
