Do-Not-Fax Law To Begin In January
(BEDFORD) - Indiana Attorney General Steve Carter and State Representative Eric Koch were in Bedford Tuesday to promote the Do-Not-Fax legislation that was passed by the State House and Senate and signed by Governor Mitch Daniels.
The bill was authored by Eric Koch to stop the faxing of unsolicited advertisements. The bill will be in force beginning January 1, 2007. Penalties of up to $1,500 will be accessed for each violation.
