STATEHOUSE—The Telecom Reform Bill which passed in the General Assembly Tuesday night is being hailed by the Governor as a “best in its class” piece of legislation.
Governor Mitch Daniels has been told by industry experts and other Governors that Indiana's Telecom Bill is the best such bill in America.
The intent of this legislation is to provide greater access to high speed internet. A recent national survey of CEOs in Site Selection magazine found that high speed communications is the most important factor in drawing compaines to move to a particular state.
