State Leader Quits As Number Two
(STATEHOUSE) - One of only two Democrats to vote for the Toll Road Lease has quit as the number two member of the party’s leadership in the Senate.
Gary's Earline Rogers will keep her seat, but a statement form Senate Democrats says she told Minority Leader Richard Young that party leadership needs to reflect the views of its members.
With everyone else except Indianapolis Senator Glenn Howard voting against the Toll Road Bill, Rogers stepped down as Assistant Minority Leader.
