INDIANAPOLIS—The Major Moves Toll Road legislation is moving to a conference committee.
The Indiana House voted against the Senate version of the bill which allows Gov. Mitch Daniels to lease out the toll road.
Lawmakers from both chambers will now meet in an effort to hammer out the differences. Two of the major issues the conference committee will deal with involve the rerouting of I-69 between Indianapolis and Bloomington and how the lease money should be divided among counties in northern Indiana along the toll road.
