Bill To Take Away Driver's Licenses

STATEHOUSE—The Indiana Senate has passed a bill which alows police to take away driver’s licenses if someone commits a moving violation after they’ve had two DUI convictions.
State Senator Mike Young's bill prohibits police from impounding a car if the person driving it is not the owner or if the owner did not know it was being driven.
Young says the bill takes the wheel out of the hands of people who coiuld use it as a deadly weapon.
