WASHINGTON, D.C.—When the Ford Motor Company announced its restructuring plans this week, Michigan’s Govenor Jennifer Granholm issued some ones that made good sense.
In so many words she says it's high time the leaders in Washington do their part for our American manufacturers.
Those Washington leaders in the House and Senate have the power to enact fair trade policies and health care assistance that will help level the playing field with countries that are competing for our jobs and our business.
The time for them to use their power to stand up for America's manufacturers is long overdue.
