The Bush Administration is showing they are in favor of Gov. Daniels’ call to privatize two Indiana interstates.
Federal Highway Administration Indiana Administrator Robert Talley told a House Ways and Means hearing the government wants to encourage more public-private partnerships.
Last year's highway bill changed tax laws to make it easier for private companies to get involved.
Daniels has proposed privatizing the Indiana Toll Road and using a private partnership to build the I-69 extension.
