Charles Reynolds Jr. - Owensburg
Charles Reynolds, Jr., 94, of Owensburg, passed awaY at 12:50 p.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at his residence.
Born January 19, 1919 in Munfordsville, Kentucky, he was the son of Charles and Ivy
He married Pearl L. Richardson on April 28, 1948 in Seymour, IN. Pearl preceded him
in death on May 4, 2003. He was a supervisor at NWSC Crane for 30 years. He had attended the Church of Christ. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, receiving the American Theater Ribbon, Asiatic Pacific Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and was awarded a Bronze Star.
Survivors include two daughters, Susan Beavers and her husband, Michael, and Cathy Terrell and her husband, Roy, all of Owensburg; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; one brother, William Reynolds, of Bedford; one sister, Mary Coulter, of Bedford.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; great grandson, Michael Lee Lane; one brother, Bob Reynolds; and one sister, Frances Darkus.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 11, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home in Bedford. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, with military graveside rites accorded by the American Legion Gillen Post #33. Friends may call on Monday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
