Esther B. McKamey - Mitchell
Esther B. McKamey, 86, Mitchell, passed away at 2:45 p.m. Friday, December 9, 2011, at Mitchell Manor Living and Rehabilitation Center.
Born September 8, 1925, in Bono Township, she was the daughter of Carl Leroy and Flossie G. (Hunsucker) Talbott.
She married Kenneth A. McKamey September 2, 1950, and he preceded her in death January 1, 2011.
She retired from RCA in 1981 with 34 years of service and was a former member of the City of Bloomington Advisory Board. Esther resided with and assisted Dr. and Mrs. J. R. Hamilton in their home during her high school years, enabling her to graduate in 1946 from Mitchell High School.
She was a member of the Unionville Church of Christ.
Surviving are a sister-in-law Joanne Talbott, of Mitchell; nieces and nephews, Glen Blackwell, Mark Talbott, Daniel Talbott, Donna Jean Davison, Marty Blackwell, Toni Talbott
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Lucille Blackwell, Bonnie Chestnut, Fern E. Talbott and Jean Mishler; brother, Raleigh Leroy Talbott and twin brother, Chester Talbott,
Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 13, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Pastor Mickey Douglas officiating. Burial will be in Talbott Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00 -7:00 p.m. Monday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Casketbearers: Jeff Davidson, Jamie Davidson, Daniel Talbott, Faron Blackwell, Mike Backherms, Marvin Craven, and Jimmy Davidson.

Helen R. Barnett - Bedford
Helen R. Barnett, 77, of 319 Hickory Heights, passes away at 7:30 p.m. Friday, December 9, 2011 at the Monroe Hospital in Bloomington.
Born on August 15, 1934 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Herbert Hutchinson and Mary (Glover) Hutchinson. She retired from RCA in 1976 and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She married Bob Barnett on April 1, 1949 and he passes away on April 6, 1996.
Surviving are four children, Marie Prince and her husband Steve, of Heltonville; Benny Barnett and his wife Mary, of Bedford; Jimmy Barnett and his wife Denise, of Bedford; 13 grandchildren, Tonya Cunningham and her husband Shawn, of Nashville, TN., Teresa Sons and her husband Ronnie, of Bedford, Tammy Eager and her husband Marty, of Mitchell, Bobby Barnett, of Bedford, Mark Barnett, of Bedford, Angie Todd and her husband, Mike, of Heltonville, Mickey Hayes and his wife, Jamie, of Bedford, Toby Hayes and his wife, Michelle, of Bedford, Jessica Huber and her husband, Josh, of Bloomington, Natalie Brazzel and her husband, Levi, of Bedford, David Barnett, of Bedford; 24 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren due in February and June; three sisters, Hazel Lane, of Bedford, Kathryn Bridges, of Leesville, and Martha Cox, of Bedford; one brother Herbert "Junior" Huchinson, of Leesville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, Doc and Deb Hutchinson and David Pruett.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 14th in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Dr. Lyman Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Gilgal Cemetery in Heltonville. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the service hour.

Amelia Alice Graves - Bedford
Amelia Alice Graves, 98, of Bedford, died at 6:55 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2011 at the White River Lodge in Bedford.
Born March 16, 1913, in Indianapolis. She married John E. Graves and he preceded her in death. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Bedford. Amelia was an artist, singer, volunteer for the American Red Cross and a talk radio host for the Bedford and Bloomington radio stations.
Survivors include two sons; Raymond "Gary" Graves and his wife Debbie, of Springville, Daniel Lee Graves and his wife Judith, of Greensburg; one daughter, Pacha L. Grissom and her husband Jim, of Cedarburg, WI., 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death in death by her parents, husband and three brothers, Charles, George and Claude Sides.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Bob Dailey officiating. Burial will follow in Clover Hill Cemetery. Friends and family may call from 9 a.m. until the hours of service on Tuesday , December 13 at the mortuary.
