Jean Lucille Easley-Overholt of Bedford passed away Monday morning, February 22nd at Garden Villa at the age of 89.
Born in 1920 in Lawrence County to parents, Grover C. and Mary A. (Deckard) Eads, she had been married to Larry Overholt since 1986.
Jean retired in 1985 as an inspector for Anderson Co. in Gary, Indiana; was a member of the Anderson Co. golfing and bowling league; was a member of the Old Union Christian Church, AARP and the White River Humane Society.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews; one sister-in-law; caregivers, Larry R. and Shirley Tirey.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Sylvia Padget and Mildred M. Kern and one brother, Glovie Eads.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 24th at 10:00AM in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow in Green Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Tuesday, February 23rd at Day & Carter Mortuary.
