Leila Wilson of Bedford, known to friends and family as “Ilene” passed away Tuesday, November 3rd at Garden Villa in Bedford at the age of 83.
Born in 1926 in Bedford to parents Quincy and Frances (Deckard) Watson, she had been married to George E. Watson since 1944.
She had worked at Westinghouse/RCA in Bloomington and was a member of the Valley Mission Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by two daughters, Janet Ritter and her husband Ron, Rebecca Barrett and her husband Edmond; two sons, Stephen Wilson and his wife Linda, Donald Wilson; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one sister, Norma Jean Workman and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sisters, Ruby Workman, Mary Hazel and Vernetta Chambers.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 7th at 1:00PM at the Valley Mission Church with burial to follow in the Hanson Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00PM until 8:00PM on Friday, November 6th at the Valley Mission Church of the Nazarene.
