Jean Hyslop Terry, 87, Bedford

Jean Hyslop Terry of Bedford passed away Tuesday morning at Stonebridge Health Campus at the age of 87.

Born in 1922 in Bedford to parents William and Margaret Hyslop, Jean was a graduate of Bedford High School in the class of 1939 and Christian College (now Columbia College) in Columbia, Missouri; as well as a dance instructor at Arthur Murray Studio in Chicago, a lifelong member of the First Christian Church in Bedford, an avid poll worker for many years, and worked at Morrisons Office Supply.

She is survived by one son, Bill; one daughter, Jan; two grandsons, and four nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her former husband, and her aunt and uncle.

Jean's wishes were to be cremated.

Visitation is Friday from 10:30 AM until 12:45 PM at Day & Carter Mortuary.

Public is invited to join the family for a graveside service at 1:00 PM on Friday at Green Hill Cemetery.
