Lois Alida Farmer, 90, Springville

Lois Alida Farmer of Springville passed away Saturday afternoon at Bedford Regional Medical Center at the age of 90.

Born in 1918 in Glendale, California to John and Alma Mitchell, Lois was a member of Life Tabernacle in Springville along with several congregations during her life in California, and held several jobs in the Golden State, her last as a crossing guard for the Los Angeles Police Department, until 1978.

She is survived by her children John, Sandra and Evelyn, 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Services will be held today at noon at Life Tabernacle in Springville with burial to follow at Springville Christian Cemetery.

Visitation will be today until time of service at the church.
