Clyde Odaffer of Bedford passed away yesterday morning at his home at the age of 86.
Born in 1922 in Jacksonville, Illinois to Ray and Edna Odaffer, Clyde was an area supervisor for Sears and in sales for Hanes, was a co-owner of Stephenson's Clothing and Western Auto in Bedford, and was an elder and member of First Presbyterian Church in Bedford and the Elks' Lodge.
He is survived by his sons Craig and Kent, brother George, sister Louise, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Peggy, brothers Harold and Howard, and sister Mary.
Services will be held tomorrow at noon at Cresthaven Funeral Home with burial to follow at Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 10:00am until time of service tomorrow at Cresthaven.
