Robert E. "Bob" Turner, 74, Bedford

Robert E. Turner of Bedford, known to friends and family as “Bob,” passed away yesterday morning at Bloomington Hospital at the age of 74.

Born in 1934 in Lawrence County to Hershel and Panzy Turner, Bob was a retiree of Ford Motor Company in Indianapolis, farmer, Air Force veteran of the Korean War, and member of Brookside Masonic Lodge #720 F & AM.

He is survived by his wife Neota, sons Lonnie and Greg and 3 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Vicky Jo, and sister Marjorie.

Graveside services will be held Saturday afternoon at Clearcreek Cemetery in Bloomington with burial to follow.

Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00am until 2:00pm at Day & Carter Mortuary.
