Kenneth Ray Howard of French Lick, known to friends, family and listeners as “Kenny Ray,” passed away yesterday at Dunn Memorial Hospital at the age of 41.
Born in 1966 in French Lick to Keith and Carolyn Howard, Kenny was a youth minister at Woodville Baptist Church in Mitchell, and radio personality at Spirit 95 in Bloomington and former personality at WBIW 1340 AM in Bedford, Q-100 in French Lick, WBDC in Huntingburg and WRBT in Mt. Carmel, Illinois.
He is survived by his mother Carolyn, daughter Elizabeth, brothers Joseph and James, sister Irene, grandmother Cora, and 4 nieces.
He is preceded in death by his father Keith, grandparents Irene and Paul Stackhouse, Kenneth Howard, Levi Deich and Omel Cooper.
Services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:00pm at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home in French Lick with burial to follow Ames Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 until 9:00pm Friday night and again from 9:00am until time of service Saturday at Brosmer-Kemple.
