Karen Rae Lee, 56, Bedford

Karen Rae Lee of Bedford passed away last Wednesday night at her home at the age of 56.

Born in 1952 to Morris and Mary Lee, Karen was a retiree of the Indiana Department of Corrections and veteran of the US Army.

She is survived by her mother Mary, daughter Shannon, sisters Lori and Susan, brothers Kurt and Alan, 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father and husband Reese Hightshue.

Services will be held today at 1:00pm at the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with cremation to follow.

No visitation is scheduled.
