Helen Mae Pemberton - Bedford

October 30, 1960 - July 29, 2017

Helen Mae (Terrell) Pemberton, 56, of Bedford, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at her residence.

Born October 30, 1960, in Lawrence County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Wilbert and Peggy
(Patton) Terrell. She married Robert Pemberton on November 12, 1977; and he survives.
Helen was a member of the Bethel Country Church, Oolitic. She was a homemaker.

Surviving include her husband, Robert; children, Peggy (Travis) Stinson, and Jennifer Pemberton (fiancé J.R. Hunt), five grandchildren, Adam, Trevor, Gavyn, Gracie, and Kianna; four sisters, Brenda Wilson, Sherry Terrell, Kelly Nicholson, and Betty Terrell; two brothers, Homer Terrell, and Ricky Terrell; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, David Terrell and Michael Terrell; and three sisters, Kathy Eagans, Knoxie Brown, and Rossetta Terrell.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes, with Sister Becky Ryan officiating. Burial will be in Patton Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral chapel.

Mary Catherine Truesdel - Bedford

January 4, 1941 - July 27, 2017

Mary Catherine Truesdel, 76, of Bedford, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017, at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital.

Born January 4, 1941, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Albert Andrew and Pearl Edith (Richardson) West. She married Jackie Lee Truesdel July 29, 1961, and he preceded her in death in 1982.

Mary was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting.

Survivors include her son, Andrew Truesdel of Bedford; step granddaughters, Stephenie Clock of Mitchell, Tiffanie Troxel of Bloomington; sister, Elise Caster of Indianapolis; 2 great grandchildren

Her parents; husband; and siblings, Betty Helfin, Violet Stovall, Morris A. West, and Mable Ruth West, preceded her in death.c

Graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 1, at Gosport Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
