Rose L. Pridemore - Mitchell
Norman - Rose L. Pridemore, 76, of Norman, died Friday,March 21, 2014 at her residence.
Born January 11, 1938 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Clyde and Nettie O. (East) Stancombe. She married Wayne Pridemore on May 21, 1956 and he survives. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, flowers, sewing and quilts. She attended the New Hope Church.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne, of Norman; a son, Randy Wayne Pridemore and wife, Kerri, of Franklin, TN; two daughters, Melanie Roberts of Williams and Lisa Hupp and husband, Mark of Lafayette, IN; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Lenard, Dean, Manuel, Manford and Lenual; six sisters, Gertrude Lutes, Leora Parker, Winona Stancombe, Lennie Stancombe, Ethel Stancombe and Juanita Ballenger.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 am on Monday, March 24th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Bro. Tom East officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickory Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the hour of service on Monday, March 24th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
