Stanley "Gabby" Granecki - Mitchell

Stanley "Gabby" Granecki, 98, of Mitchell, passed away at 2:08 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2014, at Jennings Healthcare Center in North Vernon.

Funeral arrangements are pending at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.

Rev. Paul Mayfield - Mitchell

Rev. Paul Mayfield, 86, of Mitchell, passed away at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at Mitchell Manor Living and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral arrangements are pending at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.

Mary Frances Chenault - Bedford

Mary Frances Chenault, 90, of Bedford, passed away 12:20 A.M. on Sunday, March 16, 2014, at Garden Villa, Bedford.

Born June 5, 1923, in East Oolitic, IN, she was the daughter of John William Harrison Staggs and America Sandidge Buckner.

She married Ray Edward Chenault, Sr. on July 19, 1940; and he preceded her in death on May 12, 2003. She had attended Englewood Baptist Church. She had retired from Westinghouse. She loved playing gin rummy. She loved quilting and fishing, but most of all she enjoyed helping others.

Surviving are one daughter, Lynda Chenault, of Bedford; one son, Ray Edward (Karen) Chenault II, of Bedford; two grandchildren, Jeffrey C. (Kiley) Wickersham, of Eminence, IN, and David Ray (Jennifer) Wickersham, of Providence Forge, VA; great-grandchildren, Joshua C. Wickersham, Jessie Miles, Jared C. Wickersham, Kaitlynn Wickersham, Jeremy Wickersham, and Dylan Wickersham; two great great-randchildren, Andrew and Olivia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one grandchild, Mary Estel Chenault, and fifteen brothers and sisters.

Funeral service will be on Thursday, March 20, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home with Rev. James McDowell. Burial will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call on Wednesday, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.. at the funeral home.
