Jerry W. White - Bedford
Jerry W. White, 68, of Bedford, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2012 at his home.
Born December 27, 1943 in Bedford, he was the son of Hobart and Bessie (Kirk) White. He married Linda (Morris) Anderson in 1983 and she survives. He was a retired hydraulic repairman employed at Workman's Supply for many years and previously employed at NWSC Crane. He was a member of the Free Methodist Church and was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Linda White, of Bedford; two sons, Jerry L. and wife Angie White, of Indianapolis and Jeremiah and wife Misti Anderson, of Spencer; one daughter Stacy and husband Brian Moore, of Bedford; six grandchildren; one brother, Roger White, of Bedford; one sister, Vicki Prince, of Heltonville; nephew, Mark Ross and several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Robert, William, Benny, Carl and Ronald White; one sister, Betty Cooper and one nephew Marvin Ross.
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home. Burial will be in Dive Cemetery with military graveside rites accorded by the American Legion Gillen Post 33. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Free Methodist Church.

Johnie Marie Clinkscales VanHoy - Mitchell
Johnie Marie Clinkscales VanHoy, 58, passed away at her home on July 7, 2012.
Born November 2, 1953, in Lexington, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Lorin "Doc" and Marie (Cook) Clinkscales. Johnie had been employed at Contech and also Carpenter Body Works in Mitchell. She graduated from Carroll County High School in Kentucky in 1971. She was a majorette on the baton twirling team. She was an auxiliary member of the American Legion Post No. 250 and a lifetime charter member of the Bedford Boat and Sportsmen's Club.
Johnie was a great golfer and could beat most men at the sport. She enjoyed fishing, playing piano, reading, crocheting, watching her grandsons play sports, and loved her animals. She was a very detailed, organized lady who took pride in everything she did. She loved to travel with her husband and they truly enjoyed their life together. She was a devoted, supportive, and wonderful wife, mom, mamaw, and friend who loved those around her unconditionally. Johnie's life in heaven will cause a lot of void in each of our hearts. There are no words to express how much she will be missed.
She is survived by her loving and wonderful husband of 20 years, Richard "Rick" Van Hoy of Mitchell. Also left at a loss is her daughter and best friend, Misty and her husband Brian Grow of Mitchell stepson, Richard Shea VanHoy of Louisville, Kentucky; Grandchildren who adored her, Nicolas Hayes, Jayden Hayes, Eric Grow, Alex Grow, and Abby Grow Foist; brother, Don and wife Naty Clinkscales of San Antoino Texas; sisters, Judy and husband Dave Perry, Dupont, Indiana, Rita and husband Joe Schwab, Dupont, Indiana; sisters-in-law, Marilyn and husband Gene Ray, Mitchell; Alice and husband Kenny Isom, Mitchell; brother-in-law, Bob and wife Judy VanHoy, Mitchell
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 12, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Brother Greg Isom officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
Casketbearers: Nicolas Hayes, Jayden Hayes, Pat Perry, John David Perry, Eric Grow, Alex Grow, Ray McManis, and Mike Clinkscales.
