Larry D. Mills - Bedford
Larry D. Mills, 55, of Bedford, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at his home.
Born March 26, 1956 in Lawrence County he was the son of William Larry Mills and Susie A. (Bell) Mills. He had worked at Indiana Limestone Company. He loved to restore vehicles and racing.
Survivors include two sons, Billy Mills and his wife Nyoka and Jessie Mills, all of Springville; grandchildren, Billy Dean, Zachery, Issac and Kaitlyn Mills; one great granddaughter, Brilyn Mills; one brother, Alan Mills, of Bedford; one sister, Tina Mynatt, of Bedford; his paternal grandmother, Mattie Mills.
He is preceded in death by his parents, paternal grandfather, William Mills; his maternal grandparents, Anderson and Callie Bell and his dog Angel.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 30th at the Pinhook Christian Church. Burial will follow in Pinhook Cemetery. No visitation hours are scheduled.

Emil Richard "Sim" Olson - Bedford
Emil Richard "Sim" Olson, 92, of Bedford, passed away at 3:10 a.m. on Monday, March 26, 2012 at Stonebridge Health Campus.
Born June 19, 1919, in Chicago, he was the son of Emil and Helga (Larson) Olson. He married Mary K. Metzger on January 25, 1941 and she survives. He was a senior buyer for S.S. Kresge and K-Mart Corporation. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary, of Bedford; one son, Larry Olson and wife, Linda, of Bedford; two daughters, Carol Olson, of Elgin, IL., Karin Blinkilde and husband, Peter, of Greenville, MI; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother and one sister.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson and a brother.
Cremation was chosen. No calling hours or services are planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Day & Carter Mortuary.

Timothy Roy Roll - Bedford
Timothy Roy Roll, 51, of Bedford, passed away at 3:10 p.m. on Sunday, March 25, 2012, at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital.
Born October 11, 1960, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Elroy Roll and Carolyn (Eagans) Butcher. He had worked at GE in Bloomington and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He enjoyed building models and was of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include his mother, Carolyn Butcher and husband, Marshall; three sons, Steven A. Roll, John R. Roll and Timothy R. Roll II, all of Bedford; one sister, Terri Lynn Holmes, of Cincinnati, Ohio; one brother, Trevor Roll, of Mitchell; one granddaughter, Cash Ann Roll and one grandson, Brandley Edward Allen Roll.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elroy Roll.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 29th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Sister Becky Ryan officiating. Burial will follow in the Hanson Cemetery where military rites will be accorded by members of the Gillen Post 33 American Legion. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.

Betty Louis Reynolds - Bedford
Betty Louise Reynolds, 84, of Bedford, passed away at 7:55 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012, at StoneBridge Health Campus.
Born April 22, 1927, in Kansas City, Kansas, she was the daughter of Harrison and Florence (Hinckley) Keele.
She married Gerald Leslie Reynolds June 13, 1956, and he preceded her in death November 19, 1999. She was a waitress. Betty was a member of the Salvation Army Home League, Silver Mother and awarded the Gold Star at the death of her daughter, Major Sharon Green.
Survivors include, children, Carl R. Lewis and wife Terrie, of Memphis, Tennessee, Millie S. Peacock and husband Rick, of Brighton, Colorado, Kathleen Pennington, of Bedford; son-in-law, Major Wes Green, of Chicago, Illinois; grandchildren, Carl Jr., Christie, Daniel, Michael, James, Jessica, Marcus, and Elizabeth; 15 great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, William D. Lewis; daughter, Sharon R. Green; and six brothers and three sisters.
Funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Captain Donna Rose officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Kansas City, Kansas.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. until the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Donald W. Owens - Williams
Donald W. Owens, 71, of Williams, passed away at 10:10 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012 at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital.
Born October 15, 1940 in Williams, he was the son of Ralph and MaryBelle (Gee) Owens. He married LulaBelle Baker on November 25, 1959 and she survives. Donald was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He began working for Monon in 1963 and retired 40 years later as an engineer for CSX Railroad. Donald was a member of the Mount Olive Church of Christ. He enjoyed photography, playing guitar, woodworking and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, LulaBelle, of Williams; four children, Kelli Brady and husband Clark, of Plainfield, Sherri Martin and husband Michael, of Plainfield, Donald Wayne Owens, of Solsberry and Stephanie Anderson and husband Robby, of Bedford; six grandchildren, Audrey Brady, Anna Martin, Joshua Martin, Nicholas Brady, Caleb Martin, and Jordan Owens and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Betty Hovis.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 29th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Eddie Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Williams Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28th at 10 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday March 29th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
