The following obituaries were received on Monday.

William W. Blackwell - Bedford
William W. Blackwell of Bedford passed away on Sunday, January 16th at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital at the age of 65. Born in 1945 in Lawrence County to Robert and Edith Blackwell, he was a graduate of Monon High School in the class of 1963, was a retired die maker for General Motors and was a Vietnam veteran, serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. William was also a member of the Hillcrest Christian Church, the Oolitic V.F.W., Eagles Aerie #645, Gillen Post #33 American Legion and U.A.W. Local #440. He is survived by two daughters, Misty Swayer and her husband Jonathan and Tracy Lounsbery and her husband Jason; one son, William Blackwell and his wife Carrie; two sisters, Lena Hawkins and Janet Sowders; as well as several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Robert Blackwell. Funeral services will held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, January 19th in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00PM until 8:00PM on Tuesday, January 18th at Day & Carter Mortuary.
