Obituaries For Justus "Juddie" Peyton, 84, Bedford

Reverend Justus Peyton of Bedford known to friends and family as Juddie passed way Sunday morning at Stonebridge Health Campus at the age of 84.

Born in 1924 in Turkey Knob West Virginia to parents Berry Mark Peyton and Sally Rupe, Justus was a graduate from Marshall University in Huntington West Virginia, was a member of the Wesleyan Tabernacle Association, pastored several churches and was president and director of Evangelistic Faith Mission in Bedford, as well as sang and preached on WBIW radio station, and was also a WWII veteran serving in the United States Navy.

He is survived by his wife Eunice; one daughter, Betty and her husband Colby; one granddaughter, lacy; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Inez and Ruth; and two brothers, Harry and Leslie.

Services will be held Wednesday at Faith Mission Church at 1:00 PM with burial to follow at Green Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and from 11:00 AM on Wednesday until the service at 1:00 PM at Faith Mission Church.
