Clyde Moore, Jr., of Bedford passed away Wednesday at Kindred Hospital South in Greenwood at the age of 85.
Born in 1924 in Oolitic to Clyde and Ola Mae Moore, Clyde was the owner of Anderson Rollerland in Bedford, Army veteran of World War II, and member of Free Methodist Church, Bedford Masonic Lodge #14 F&AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis and Murat Temple.
He is survived by his daughters Jacqueline and Gayle, sister Mary, 3 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Maxine, sisters Doris and Jane, brothers Lawrence and Eugene, and one grandson.
Services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00pm at the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow at Green Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3:00 until 8:00pm tomorrow and again from noon until time of service Sunday at Day & Carter.
