Edwin Hartman of Carroll, Ohio, known to friends and family as “Jim,” passed away Saturday morning at the Pickering House in Lancaster, Ohio at the age of 71.
Born in 1936 in Abilene, Kansas to James and Helen Rose Hartman, Jim was a lot scanner for the Ohio Auto Auction and veteran of the US Army.
He is survived by his wife Alice, sons Tim and Jim, daughters Teresa, Mary, Lisa, Tammy and April, brother Charles, sisters Sandy, Carol and Linda, 27 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 1:30pm at Crossroads Community Church with burial to follow at Dive Christian Cemetery.
Visitation is from 3:00 until 8:00pm tonight at Day & Carter Mortuary, and from 11:00am until the time of service at the church.
