7:15 p.m. Max Smith, 49, 214 Judah Logan Rd., wanted on a warrant in another county.

9:46 p.m. Kenneth Johnson, 43, 1429 8th St., battery resulting in bodily injury.

5:42 p.m. Police were conducting an investigation into allegations of pornography in the 3200 block of South Leatherwood Road.

5:34 p.m. Disabled motorist at Q and 16th streets.

3:55 p.m. Report of the violation of a protective order in the 1600 block of 22nd Street.

12:39 p.m. Report of damage to property in the 700 block of U Street.

12:25 p.m. Report of a theft at WalMart.

12:20 p.m. A resident in the 2400 block of J Street reports receiving threats.

9:46 a.m. Domestic fight in the 1400 block of 8th Street at Stalker Apartments. A man was arrested.

7:44 p.m. Domestic fight in the 2500 block of Q Street.

2:10 a.m. Report of an animal problem in the 900 block of Q Street.

12:05 a.m. Richard Simmerson, 42, Mitchell, criminal recklessness with a firearm, dangerous possession of a firearm by an intoxicated person.

10:57 a.m. Michelle Collins, 40, Avoca, wanted on a warrant for failure to appear.

2:30 a.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle in the 6200 block of SandPit Road. A white Dodge truck was stuck in the grass at the church. The vehicle was gone when police arrived.

1:30 a.m. Report of a drain pipe blocked and causing flooding in the 1000 block of Leesville Road. The county highway department was contacted.

12:39 a.m. Report of a large hole in the pavement on the bridge on Williams-Silverville Road. The caller was afraid the bridge would collapse. The bridge foreman was contacted.

12:35 a.m. Medical emergency in the 300 block of Mayberry Court. A man was suffering a possible stroke. An IU Health Hospital ambulance and Perry Volunteer Fire Department responded. The man passed away.

11:47 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a black Monte Carlo passing vehicle at a high-rate of speed traveling south on Ind. 37 from Art Gallery Road.

11:23 p.m. Report of a rock and mud slide on U.S. 60 West near Fleenor Road. The state highway department was contacted.

11:13 p.m. Report of a disabled motorist in the 3100 block of Buddah Road.

10:56 p.m. Report of a suspicious man in the 900 block of U.S. 50 West. The caller reported the man was in his barn and had fired shots. The man came out of the barn and continued firing the gun. Police arrested the man.

10:41 p.m. Report of high water in the 600 block of Fayetteville Coxton Road.

10:40 p.m. Report that the riprap washed away into the road in the 3000 block of Ind. 158. The state highway was notified.

10:13 p.m. Report of a vehicle stuck in the high water on Tunnelton Road, north of South Leatherwood Road.

10:57 p.m. Report the blinker light was not working at U.S. 50 East and Ind. 446 and Maple Leaf Road. INDOT was notified.

9:02 p.m. Report of an intoxicated driver in a gold Sable traveling north on Ind. 37 near Tieman Tires.

8:16 p.m. A resident in the 1000 block of Barrett Lane reported receiving a call from Homeland Security saying they were coming to the caller's home to take computers and other items. Homeland Security was contacted.

7:56 p.m. Report of fight between two drivers on Dixie Highway. One person was in a white pickup truck and the other in a maroon 4x4. Police say it was two brothers and that one had taken the white truck without permission and the other brother was attempting to stop the brother.

6:57 p.m. Report the CSX signal was sounding at Gun Club Road.

5:40 p.m. Medical emergency in the 100 block of Robin Hood Estates. A woman had fallen and hit her head. A Seals ambulance and Shawswick VFD responded.

4:57 p.m. Report of high water on Tunnelton Road between Otis Park and Pinhook Road.

4:12 p.m. A woman reported her 19-year-old son had held her captive in the bathroom in a home in the 6000 block of U.S. 60 West. The woman was now free and everything was ok.

3:26 p.m. A woman was on station to report a protective order violation.

3:13 p.m. A resident reported they found a chainsaw on Boone Lane.

2:36 p.m. A resident in the 2500 block of Bud Stipp Road reported a theft.

2:01 p.m. Report of an aggressive pit bull in the 1800 block of Coveyville Road.

1:37 p.m. Medical emergency in the 6400 block of Ind. 450. A Seals ambulance and Indian Creek VFD responded.

12:45 p.m. A person reported finding a wallet at 3M Storage.

12:31 p.m. Report of a student at BNL with drugs.

12:01 p.m. A resident in the 2800 block of Old Ind. 37 North reported their neighbor was intoxicated and trespassing.

11:53 a.m. Report of a student with tobacco products at BNL. The student was issued a citation.

11:33 a.m. Report of a pit bull loose in the 300 block of Palestine Road. The caller is afraid the dog is attacking their sheep.

11:21 a.m. Disabled motorist on Ind. 37 in the northbound lane, south of Washboard Road.

10:14 a.m. A person was on station to report the violation of a protective order.

8:49 a.m. Request for a welfare check on a man walking north on the east side of road at Ind. 37 and U.S. 50 West. Police gave the man a ride to Bedford.

7:25 a.m. Report of an injured deer in the northbound lane of Ind. 37, south of Washboard Road.

9:16 p.m. Property damage accident at Mr. C's. The driver had run off the roadway.

8:25 p.m. Car/deer accident at Silverville and Chapel Hill roads.

3:51 p.m. Accident with possible injuries on Ind. 58 between Fellowship Drive and the back gate at BNL. An IU Health Hospital ambulance and Shawswick VFD responded.

8:08 a.m. Property damage accident at Hancock Avenue and Ind. 37.

12:29 a.m. Troy Sanders, 1013 Tulip St., battery causing injury, domestic battery, resisting arrest.

12:29 a.m. Report of an intoxicated man tearing up a home in the 1000 block of Tulip Street. The man fled before police arrived. The man then went to the police station and threatened the dispatcher. Officers located the man, who had stabbed himself. An ambulance transported the man to the hospital for treatment and then taken to jail.

3:02 a.m. A woman in the 600 block North 9th Street reported her dogs have something or someone cornered in her back yard. She was afraid her dogs will be hurt. Police assisted in getting the dogs back in the house.

12:21 p.m. Report of a young child riding a bike from JayC down Main Street. The caller told dispatch they feel the child is too young to be alone on Main Street.

12:55 p.m. Report of a female driver in a silver Pontiac just pulled into the JayC parking lot with a child standing up in the vehicle.

1:10 p.m. A resident in the 300 block of Hancock Avenue reported someone had stolen the license plate off his truck.

3:10 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1000 block of Tulip Street. A Seals ambulance and Mitchell VFD responded.

4:55 p.m. Police report there was water over the roadway in the area of 8th Street and Hancock Avenue.

5:34 p.m. A person found a small ladies purse in the parking lot of the auto parts store. The owner of the purse picked it up and wanted to thank the person who found it. All of the items in the purse including her money is still inside.

7:15 p.m. A resident in the 5000 block of West Oak Street wanted to file battery charges but she was very intoxicated. The woman told police she would come on station after she sober up.

8:15 p.m. A resident in the 1100 block of North Marion Street reported that a black dog was standing in high water and not being cared for. The owner of the dog was contacted and told to check on his dog.

8:38 p.m. Medical emergency in the 400 block of West Frank Street. An elderly woman was not feeling well. An IU Health Hospital ambulance and Mitchell VFD responded.

10:45 p.m. The National Weather Service announced a strong thunderstorm advisory.

10:27 p.m. A resident in the 1100 block of North 8th Street reported an intoxicated person was next door and causing a disturbance. When police arrived there was no problem and the person had left.

10:50 p.m. Report that a woman was walking at 8th Street north of Grissom Avenue and a man in a white van was following her and yelling at her. Police were unable to locate the woman.

11:35 p.m. Report of a rockslide on U.S. 60 West near FiberTech. The state highway department was contacted.

8:13 a.m. Property damage accident at Ind. 37 and Hancock Avenue.

1:07 p.m. A man called about a car/deer accident on Hamilton Boulevard. The accident happened at 5:52 a.m.
