10:41 p.m. Report of the smell of smoke near Camelot Courts in Mitchell. Mitchell Volunteer Fire Department responded.
10:10 p.m. Medical emergency in the 50 block of Old Ind. 60 West. A woman was having stomach pain. An IU Health Hospital ambulance and Marion VFD first responders were alerted.
9:22 p.m. Report of an injured deer on U.S. 50 near Back Creek Road.
8:29 p.m. Medical emergency in the 500 block of South Seventh Street in Mitchell. A man was having medical issues. An IU Health Hospital ambulance and Mithcell VFD responded.
8:21 p.m. Report of a brush fire on Ind. 37 and Wesley Chapel Road. Marion VFD responded. It was a controlled burn.
6 p.m. Police were alerted about a possible stolen camper.
5:45 p.m. Report of a pig in the road on U.S. 50 West, east of McKnight Farms.
5:34 p.m. Report that a 15-year-old female in the 300 block of Steeple Ridge Road had taken a bunch of pills and the caller wanted officers to check on the teen. A Seals ambulance and Shawswick VFD responded.
5:32 p.m. Report of a civil dispute over a property line on Eastern Hill Drive.
5:21 p.m. Officers assisted Bloomington police investigating a theft and stolen property case in the 200 block of Patton Hill Road.
4:57 p.m. Report ofa large hole in the roadway on Leesville Road, south of Sowder Lane. The highway department was alerted.
4:42 p.m. Report of an unwanted person at a home in the 160 block of Rockwood Drive.
3:54 p.m. A man was on station to discuss a domestic fight that had happened on Monday.
3:40 p.m. Report of a woman texting and driving. The woman was traveling west in a red Dodge Ram on U.S. 50 West.
3:10 p.m. Medical emergency in the 300 block of Patton Hill Road. A woman was not feeling well. An IU Health Hospital ambulance and Indian Creek VFD responded.
3 :01 p.m. Report of a reckless driver in a black Ford F-150 traveling south on Ind. 37 from 39th Street.
2:43 p.m. Report of a burglary in the 12000 block of Tunnelton Road.
2:42 p.m. Report of a horse not being feed in the 900 block of Locust Road.
1:37 a.m. Officers were attempting to find a black Dodge truck with two males in this with a load of metal from a barn. The vehicle was seen on Juddah Logan Road, north of Mount Pleasant Road.
1:34 p.m. Report of a theft of jewlery from BNL.
12:54 p.m. Report of illegal burning on Noe Road. Marion VFD responded.
12:43 p.m. Report of a possible intoxicated driver in a silver Jeep Cherokee traveling south on Ind. 37 from the Judah area.
9:49 a.m. Report of a possible intoxicated driver in a light brown van traveling south on Ind. 37 from Oolitic.The driver was stopped and was just tired.
9:20 a.m. Report of a mistreated dog in the 400 block of Trinton Circle. The dog was fine.
7:08 a.m. Report of an out of control juvenile in the 800 block of Bud Ikerd Road.
6:47 a.m. Medical emergency in the 1900 block of Guthrie Road. An IU Health Hospital ambulance and Marshall VFD responded.
12:10 a.m. Property damage accidnet on U.S. 50 West, just west of Ford Tractor.
5:41 p.m. Property damage accident in the back parking lot at BNL High School.
Mitchell Police Department
10 a.m. Hancock Avenew between North Third and Cherry Street was closed to repair a water leak. The road was opened at 11:34 a.m.
12:35 p.m. A man reported he had lost his small black and tan chihuahua. The dog had run out the door and was wearing a red harness. Police found the dog in the 20 block of Plum Street and the owner was contacted.
2:14 p.m. Report of a person in a gray Oldsmobile driving recklessly and traveling south on Ind. 37.
8:30 p.m. A resident in the 300 block of North 8th Street reported that his granddaughter was causing a disturbance and the home and he wanted her to leave. The caller phoned back a short time later and reported she had left the home.
8:30 p.m. Medical emergency in the 500 block of South Seventh Street. A man was suffering a possible urinary tract infection. A Seals ambulance responded.
8:50 p.m. A man reported finding a tri-fold wallet on top of the ATM machine at Hoosier Hills Credit Union. The owner of the wallet was contacted and they came to the police station to pick it up.
9:30 p.m. Domestic fight in the area of Gasoline Alley. The man reported his girlfriend has some of his prescriptions and was refusing to give them to him. Officers were able to get the man's medications back.
9:40 p.m. A caller reported he tried to phone his sister who lives in the area of First and Warren streets and her son is refusing to let him speak to her. The caller asked police to make a welfare check on the woman. The woman was okay.
10:43 p.m. Report of the smell of smoke in the lobby of his apartment building at Camelot Courts. The neighbor had turned on the heat in the hallway and there was no fire. The heater was unplugged and the managment was contacted and will check on the heater in the morning.
2 p.m. Property damage accident in the Ace Hardware Parking lot.
