12:21 a.m. Report of a strong odor of smoke in the area of U.S. 50 West near Truck Lane. Huron Volunteer Fire Department responded. No fire was located.
10:31 p.m. Report of a battery in the 1100 block of Sugar Hill Addition. A woman had thrown an object at a man and it hit him in the mouth. The man then reported things had calmed down and no officer was needed.
10:18 p.m. Report of a suspicious person walking on Oolitic Road near Kucklehead Bend. Everything checked out okay.
10:14 a.m. A man was on station to report a vehicle was stolen from the 1100 block of Younger Road. The man knew who took the vehicle.
9:47 p.m. A resident in the 250 block of Poplar Street reported someone was knocking on their door and then running into the woods.
9:08 p.m. Report of reckless driver in a gray or silver Nissian Optima driving north on Ind. 37 from Fifth Street. The person is also a suspect in breaking into vehicles.
7:49 a.m. Request for a welfare check in the 300 block of Kentucky Hollow Road.
7:46 p.m. Report of someone shooting an automatic weapon in the 250 block of The Woods.
7:04 p.m. Report of a man lost in the Hoosier National Forest. The man was located by GPS and Monroe County Police were alerted.
6 p.m. Report of illegal burning of plastic in the 3000 block of Avoca Eureka Road. The fire was put out.
4:01 p.m. Request for extra patrol on U.S. 50 West at the water station because of recent thefts.
3:33 p.m. Report of a burglary to a garage in the 1700 block of Noe Road.
1:49 p.m. Report of a person driving a vehicle with an expired license plate traveling northbound on Ind. 37. The vehicle was stopped and towed.
12:25 p.m. Report of a civil dispute in the 6300 block of Bartlettsville Road.
11:53 p.m. Report of a woods fire in the 600 block of Duncan Lane. Shawswick, Pleasant Run, Oolitic, Guthrie and TOPES responded.
11:08 p.m. Report of a male juvenile walking near the Huron VFD station shooting a pellet gun at home.
11:06 a.m. Medical emergency in the 4200 block of Stonington Road. A woman had fallen and injured her back.
11 a.m. Report of a dog running loose in the 500 block of Dillman Road.
8:43 a.m. A hay bale fire had rekindled in the 490 block of Perry Road. Huron VFD responded.
6:45 a.m. Report of a battery in the 300 block of South Leatherwood Road. Two people were arrested.
4:56 a.m. Report that a battery victim was being treating in the emergency room at IU Health Bedford Hospital.

5:15 p.m. Greg Carmichael, 47, 26 Lakeside Estates, resisting law enforcement, disarming an officer.
11:30 p.m. Gregory Pannell, 21, 123 W. Vine St., domestic battery in the presence of a minor.
3:25 p.m. Amanda Ponsler, 27, Salem, driving while driver’s license suspended with prior convictions.
8:18 p.m.Ronald Green, 36, 57 Gun Club Rd., driving while driver’s license suspended, false and fictitious registration.
8:55 p.m. Jennifer Irwin, 24, 202 W Warren St., speeding.
12:47 a.m. Request for an ambulance because an elderly woman had fallen and had a deep large cut on his head. Mitchell VFD responded. No address was listed on the log.
12:51 a.m. Report of a vehicle egged in the 400 block of Oak Street.
2:45 p.m. Report of reckless driving in the alleyway in the 500 block of North 8th Street.
3:15 p.m. Report of a juvenile male walking down the 500 block of North 8th Street. He told residents he was looking for a lost paycheck and was re-tracing his steps.
7:29 p.m. Request for an ambulance to Camelot Courts because a woman was sick. Mitchell VFD and a Seals ambulance responded. The woman refused to go to the hospital.
8:55 p.m. A woman in the 300 block of West Frank Street reported there was a prowler at her bedroom window at the side of her home. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate anyone.
11:17 p.m. 911 call from a resident in the 100 block of East Frank Street requesting the street department number. The man was confused about what time it was and he was asked to call in the morning to make the call. The caller told the dispatcher he was going to bed.
11:30 p.m. Request for an ambulance for an elderly woman having severe bladder pain. Mitchell VFD and a Seals ambulance responded.
