7:24 p.m. Drue Mercer, 18, Paoli, possession of marijuana and hashish.

5:25 p.m. Vanessa Hughes, 27, 403 Shawnee Drive, wanted on three warrants for failure to appear.

2:06 p.m. Zandariah Hill, 28, 815 P St., wanted on a warrant for petition to modify probation.

9:41 p.m. Allen Huffman, 23, 1210 17 St., wanted on a warrant for failure to appear.

11:04 p.m. William Allman, 40, Paoli, wanted on a warrant for theft.

10:22 .m. Report of a suspicious person at Washington Avenue and 27th Street.

9:41 p.m. Police went to a home in the 1600 block of K Street because a man was wanted on a warrant.

9:27 p.m. Report of a suspicious person in at Day Court.

8:56 p.m. Report of a battery in the 1900 block of 16th Street. A man was arrested.

8:42 p.m. Police went to a home in the 1200 block of 17th Street because a person was wanted on a warrant.

7:49 p.m. Report of a suspicious person in the 500 block of 18th Street.

7:24 p.m. Police made a traffic stop at Family Video and arrested a man for possession of marijuana.

7:09 p.m. Report of a possible overdose at a home in the 1300 block of K Street. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded.

7:06 p.m. Request for a welfare check at a home in the 1000 block of 18th Street.

6:01 p.m. Request for a welfare check at a home in the 220 block of M Street.

6:01 p.m. Report of an unwanted person in the 100 block of Madison Street. A person was arrested on a warrant.

5:23 p.m. Report of a problem with an animal in the 3200 block of John Williams Boulevard.

5:09 p.m. Report of a possible mental person in the 3000 block of John Williams Boulevard.

4:42 p.m. Report of a theft at WalMart.

2:06 p.m. An officer was called to Community Corrections in the 900 block of 16th Street because a man there was wanted on a warrant.

1:52 p.m. Report of a civil dispute in the 1600 block of K Street.

1:41 p.m. Report of a medical emergency at Lowes.

1:31 p.m. Report of a medical emergency in the 2800 block of Hillside Drive.

4:27 p.m. Report of an animal problem at the JayC Plus store.

11:58 p.m. Report of an unwanted person at Walgreens.

11:13 a.m. Report of an animal problem in the 1600 block of 16th Street.

10:41 a.m. Request for an officer in the 2100 block of 24th Street.

9:54 a.m. Report of a theft at 5th and I streets.

9:18 a.m. Report of criminal mischief in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue.

9:10 a.m. Report of a utility problem at Eastwood Drive and Southwood Drive. The road was closed for two hours.

7:28 a.m. Report of an animal problem on U.S. 50 and Limestone Run Road.

5:40 a.m. Report of a possible fire in the 900 block of Williams Park Drive.

11:54 p.m. James Day, 27, 3014 Ted Jones Drive, conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine within 1000 feet of a family housing complex, possession of precursors with intent to manufacture methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance.

11:54 p.m. Jeremy Reynolds, 38, manufacturing methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance.

11:25 a.m. Eric Fahey, 28, Washington, wanted on a warrant for theft.

2:20 p.m. Jonathan Babbitt, 26, Paoli, wanted on a warrant for theft.

2:49 a.m. Officers made extra patrols at Leatherwood Church.

12:20 a.m. Report of someone knocking on the side of a home in the 5100 block of Huron William Road. Police say they found an animal in the caller's duct work.

October 1

11:49 p.m. Report of a domestic fight in the 300 block of Hammersley Lane. A woman reported that her grandmother had pushed her and her mother. The grandmother had left the home and went to her pastor's home and called police requesting a no trespass order against the two other women.

11:06 p.m. Request for extra patrol at Hillside Estates.

10:59 p.m. 911 call from a WalMart employee reporting a woman was coming into the store and stealing items. Bedford Police were alerted.

10:58 pm. Report of a suspicious person in the 4600 block of Dixie Highway. The caller reported a male in his early 20's with a buzz hair cut was banging on his door and windows saying he needed help because he was dehydrated. The caller told the man to go away. Police were unable to locate the male. There were a couple of window panes damaged at the caller's home.

10:47 p.m. Report of a burglary in the 4200 block of State Road 446. The caller reported someone had broken a window, entered the home and stole a pistol.

10:12 p.m. An IU Health Hospital employee reported that a man being treated in the emergency room after being in a fight was calling the alleged suspect and threatening to kill him. Police went to the hospital and told the man being treated to stop confronting the suspect and to call police if he had a problem.

9:33 p.m. Request for extra patrol at Cedar Valley Golf Course.

7:53 p.m. Request for a welfare check on Ind. 158 because an elderly male is walking along the roadway and was possibly having car trouble. Police say the man was just picking up cans.

7 p.m. Report of a domestic fight between two males in the 70 block of Sugar Run Road. A man suffered a head injury. An IU Health Hospital ambulance and Marshall Volunteer Fire Department first responders were alerted.

5:37 p.m. A caller reported the license plate was stolen from his daughter's vehicle at Bedford Ford.

3:54 p.m. Request for extra patrol at Leatherwood Church because the fuel line and the gas was siphoned from the church van.

3:32 p.m. A resident on Rivervale Cabin Road complained that a neighbor is taking pictures of her car while she is traveling on the roadway.

3:05 p.m. 911 call reporting a special needs child has ran away from Mitchell High School.

1:41 p.m. 911 call requesting an ambulance to Lowes because a man inside the store is having health issues. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded.

1:24 p.m. 911 call reporting a domestic fight in the 300 block of Dale Street in Mitchell. Mitchell Police were alerted.

1:22 p.m. Report of a suspicious person in the 500 block of Dillman Road. The caller reported he was sitting on the back porch when he heard whistling and saw a man come out of the woods. The man spotted the caller and ran back into the woods. The caller went into the woods to check on their deer stand and trail camera and saw two males running in the woods toward Ind. 450.

12:27 p.m. 911 call from a home health nurse requested an ambulance to the Hauck House because her patient was ill and needed to go to the hospital. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded and Bedford Police were alerted.

11:51 a.m. Request for animal control to a home in the 1500 block of Ind. 37 because of a stray dog.

11:50 a.m. A Department of Child Service case worker requested an officer to go with them to the Bedford North Lawrence High School.

11:32 a.m. Request for extra patrol in the 900 block of Woodsferry Road and the 500 block of Old Vincennes Road because a male was stealing property.

11:24 a.m. Report of a fire alarm sounding at Dollens Elementary School in Oolitic. The Oolitic and Shawswick VFDs responded. There was no fire, a student had pulled the alarm.

10:10 a.m. Report of a theft of a vehicle from the 400 block of East Oolitic Road.

9:51 a.m. 911 call reporting the theft of a utility trailer parked at I and J streets. Bedford Police were alerted.

9:30 a.m. Request for animal control because a neighbor's dog in the 900 block of Trinton Circle was causing problems.

7:12 a.m. An elderly man in the 1300 block of Mount Pleasant Road called needing to talk to a doctor and didn't know the number. The man refused an ambulance and his call was transferred to IU Health Hospital.

5:54 a.m. Report of a possible intoxicated semi truck driver traveling westbound on U.S. 50 East near Star Boulevard.

3:48 a.m. Report of a burglary in progress in the 300 block of BJ Boulevard. The female caller reported someone was in her garage, had removed her vehicle from the garage and was loading it up with her tools. The male in a gray sweatshirt saw the woman and took off running on foot. Police were unable to locate the man.

5:47 a.m. A caller reported the street light at 11th and Orchard streets was out.

9:35 a.m. A resident in the 500 block of North Fifth Street reports someone had stolen his black and white pitbull from his fenced in yard.

11 a.m. Seals ambulance reported they were now in Mitchell and taking calls for service.

11:11 a.m. Request for an officer to the 1200 block of West Main Street because someone had tried to get into her building. The caller requested extra patrol.


1:05 p.m. A resident at Third Street and Grissom Avenue reported there was a very skinny dog at Third and Frank streets that was not being taken care of.

1:26 p.m. Request for an officer to the 300 block of Dale Street because the caller's husband had returned to the home to get some of his belongings. There was no problem.

1:59 p.m. A man in the 300 block of North 8th Street requested to speak to an officer.

2:24 p.m. A man is on station about an investigation.

3:05 p.m. Report of a juvenile walking away from the school. The juvenile was found at Eighth and Main streets and picked up and taken to the police station. The boy's father was contacted.

3:46 p.m. A resident at Sixth and Warren streets reported her neighbor's dog is come to her home and she wants it to stop. The dog was taken back to the owner and the owner was advised.

5:08 p.m. Report of a maroon Ford F-250 was double parking in the 100 block of North Sixth Street. The caller reported this has been a problem in the past. Police could not find the double parked vehicle.

5:20 p.m. Request for a welfare check on a resident in the 600 block of South Sixth Street. The woman was fine.

9:26 p.m. A resident in the area of 13th and Main streets reported finding an open door and wanted to have an officer check out the location.

October 2

12:09 a.m. Report of a snake in front of Haverly Funeral Home on Main Street. Police say the snake was dead and in the roadway. The street department was notified to remove the snake in the morning.

2:35 a.m. Report of a suspicious man in the parking lot of the Church of God. The man had moved to Third and Mississippi streets. The man was fine and walking to a friend's house.
