Bedford Police Department
September 4

2:30 p.m. Michael Gentry, 35, Oolitic, violation of drug court.

No information was available this morning because the department is installing a new computer system.

Lawrence County Police
September 4

7:30 a.m. Audra Mason, 24, 1266 Indian Creek Camp Rd., public intoxication, trespassing.

8 a.m. John Nunn, 30, 1310 Elm Park Apartments, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, receiving stolen property, driving while driver's license suspended.

September 4

11:59 p.m. 911 call from a woman at Judah Junction Old Ind. 37 north. The woman reported her boyfriend thought she had hide keys to vehicle, man then shots out the vehicle tires. She gets a ride to Mr. Cs's where she is hiding behind beer stacks because she believes he could be outside the store. Police attempt to locate the man involve but were unable to. While at the store the woman opens alcohol and drinks it. An ambulance is requested because the woman is intoxicated or on possible drugs. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responds. She it taken to Bloominton Hospital for treatment. The store owner does not want to press charges.

11:53 p.m. Report of a suspicious person on Old Ind. 37 near Johnny's Junction. A woman with her face painted in standing in the middle of the road and attempted to flag down the caller.

10:54 p.m. Request for an ambulance to the 1700 block of Standish Steel Raod because the caller was suffering from severe stomach and back pain. An IU Health Hospital ambulance and Guthrie Volunteer Fire Department responded.

10:28 p.m. Request for officers to speak to a person living in a tent on a vacant lot in the 800 block of Earl Road in Mitchell. The smoke from the person's campfire is going into the caller's windows. The fire was put out.

9:56 p.m. Request for a welfare check on a woman in the 100 block of Cindy Lane. The caller phoned back and told police to disregard the woman was still at the dentist.

9:38 p.m. 911 call requesting an ambulance to the 700 block of Meridian Road because a man had overdosed and had left the home. The man was found.

8:22 p.m. 911 call requesting an ambulance to the 900 block of Ridge Road because of a medical issue. A Rural Metro ambulance and Huron VFD responded.

7:31 p.m. 911 call reporting an unwanted man at a home in the 2100 block of F Street. Bedford police were alerted.

7:28 p.m. A woman in the 10300 block of Tunnelton Road reported a domestic fight during a child custody exchange. The woman reported her exhusband's parents were yelling and causing a problem.

7:17 p.m. 911 call from an employee at JC Penney reporting a vehicle had hit a stop sign in front of the store. Bedford Police were alerted.

5:22 p.m. A person was on station to report the theft of a trailer in the 10800 block of Williams Road.

4:59 p.m. 911 call reporting a blue car and a black car were driving erratically southbound on Ind. 37 from 16th Street. Bedford Police alerted.

4:30 p.m. 911 call reporting a semi tractor-trailer was driving erratically from Zikes Road in Monroe County southbound on Ind. 37.

3:58 p.m. 911 call reporting a woman's daughter had been hit by a bus at Parkview School. Bedford Police were alerted.

2:48 p.m. Report of an erratic driver on U.S. 50 and entering the city limits. Bedford Police alerted.

1:43 p.m. Report of a possible intoxicated driver in a white van traveling southbound on Ind. 37 near the Oolitic stop light.

12:36 p.m. 911 call reporting a suspicious vehicle parked in a driveway in the 1300 block of North Pike Road. There was no problem it was a utility truck.

11:02 a.m. An employee at ServePro Company, in the 4300 block of Old Ind. 37 North, reports a neighbor is coming onto the property and taking pictures and causing a distrubance.

10:14 a.m. Report of several ducks in the roadway causing a traffic hazard in the 4700 block of Old Ind. 37 North.

10:13 a.m. Report from a resident in the 1800 block of Coveyville Road that a neighbor was parking in their driveway everyday letting their kids off for the bus. The caller says she talked to the neighbor about the problem and they had an arguement. The caller requested extra patrols.

7:26 a.m. 911 call reporting a domestic fight in the 200 block of Sixth Street in Mitchell. Mitchell Police were alerted.

6:43 a.m. Request for an ambulance to the 200 block of Heartland Street because the caller could not wake her husband. An IU Health Hospital ambulance and Shawswick VFD responded. There was no problem.

5:08 a.m. A caller in Sycamour Squar reported hearing a hissing sound and believed it was a possible gas leak. Bedford Police alerted.

3:26 p.m. Accident involving a vehicle and bicycle on Sunny Acers Drive and Trinton Avenue.

Mitchell Police Department
September 4

6:33 a.m. A caller in the 1000 block of Tulip Street reported that he was letting a male and female stay with him and that the female had left something in his vehicle and he gave the woman the key's to his vehicle so she could retrieve the item. But when he looked outside the woman had allegedly stolen the vehicle. Police stopped the vehicle at 6:44 a.m. on Ind. 60 at Meridian Road. the male and female were in the vehicle. The vehicle was returned to the owner.

7:30 a.m. Report of a domestic fight in the 200 block of North Sixth Street. the male left the home and the female was walking south on Sixth Street.

8:12 a.m. Report of a vandalism in the 400 block of East Grissom Avenue. The caller reported there was dead animals and trash and requested extra patrols after dark.

.8:40 a.m. Report of an unwanted man at Persimmon Park Apartments. The caller has a retraining order against the man.

10:17 a.m. Report of a shoplifter that fled the Dollar General Store. The employee knew the person who stole the items.

12:38 p.m. Request for an officer to Persimmon Park Apartment because someone had illegally hookup to a cable box. New Wave was contacted.

12:50 p.m. Report of a domestic fight in the 100 block of Dale Street. The caller reported the fight had been going on for about an hour. Officers were not able to locate those fighting.

2:58 p.m. 911 call reporting a fight between two brothers in the 300 block of Wade Street. There was also a request for an ambulance because the caller stated their grandmother had been injured. The woman refused the ambulance. One of the brothers left the home.

4:32 p.m. Report of a suspicious person knocking on a door at Elm Park 1. There was no problem someone was moving a table.

4:49 p.m. Report of two females in a domestic fight at Persimmon Park Apartment. They were advised.

5:08 p.m. A woman was on station asking for information about a restraining order.

6:48 p.m. A resident in the 300 block of Warren Street request an officer because of a possible runaway. The juvenile came back home at 7:18 p.m.

8:16 p.m. Complaint of two dogs in the 100 block of Vine Street chasing other dogs and people. Dogs were now in the caller's yard. The owner of the dog was contacted and said they escaped the fence.

9:43 p.m. 911 call requesting an ambulance to the 700 block of Meridian Road because of a possible overdose. Rural Metro ambulance and Mitchell VFD repsonded. The person had also cut himself and then fled on foot from the home. The man was found in the 700 block of Meridian Road and was taken to the hospital.

9:51 p.m. Request for an ambulance to the 500 block of Grissom Avenue because a man was suffering from low blood sugar and was unresponsive. An IU Health Hospital ambulance and Mitchell VFD responded. The man refused to go to the hospital.
