Bedford Police Department
4 a.m. Cory Kern, 27, 1408 Togdon Lane, theft.
4 a.m. Leah Tincher, 32, 17 East View Court, receiving stolen property.
No police log was available this morning because the department is installing a new computer system.
Lawrence County Police
8:50 p.m. Donald Dorsett, 35, 3325 Old State Road Ind. 37 North, battery on a person less then 14-years-old
2:11 a.m. Report of a suspicous man outside of an apartment in the 288 block of Elm Park.
2:10 a.m. Report of a suspicious person in the 1200 block of Brown Station Road. The caller reported she was woke by her dogs barking and looked outside to see a man in a white t-shirt running from her home.
1:44 a.m. Report of a domestic fight in the 260 block of Popcorn Road.
12:38 a.m. Request for an ambulance to a home in the 4900 block of West County Road North in Orange County.The call was transfered to Orange County and an ambulance was sent to the home.
11:48 p.m. Request of two vehicles at a cemetery across from Kentucky Hollow Road. Police asked four juveniles to leave the area.
11:14 p.m. 911 call report the theft of a CD player from a vehicle in the 500 block of V Street. Bedford Police notified.
11:08 p.m. 911 call reporting a domestic fight at McDonalds. Bedford Police were notified.
10:06 p.m. Request for extra patrol in the 700 block of Ramsey Ridge Road because someone was in a vacant trailer.
9:58 p.m. The caller wanted police to check on a woman at Plaza Motel who was involved in a domestic fight. The woman was fine.
7:28 p.m. 911 call from a 13-year-old reporting their father had hit them and their mother at a home in the 3300 block of Old Ind. 37 North. The man was arrested.
6:49 p.m. Report of a domestic fight at East Mystic Lake Road. A woman suffered a face laceration but refused to stay at a safe location. A Rural Metro ambulance and Marion Volunteer Fire Department responded.
5:37 p.m. Officers were called to Lawrenceport Main Street because juveniles were riding motorcycles in the roadway. The youth were advised.
3:44 p.m. 911 call reporting a boating injury at Allen's Creek. Indiana Conservation Officers responded.
3:43 p.m. Request for an ambulance to the 2600 block of Walnut Heights because of a medical issue. An IU Health Hospital and Shawswick and Oolitic VFD responded.
3:08 p.m. Report of trespassing at New Union Church. A vehicle was parked behind the church and the caller believes there were swimmers at the quarry. The quarry manager was alerted.
3:05 p.m. Request for extra patrols in the 1800 block of South Leatherwood Road because of subjects with flashlights wandering around a shed at night.
11:23 a.m. Report of an incorrigible stepson at a home in the 300 block of Martin Hollow Road in Heltonville.
11:19 a.m. 911 call reporting a domestic fight between family members in the 2800 block of Stonnington Road. The parties involved were advised.
11:04 a.m. Report of a theft in the 90 block of Melinda Place. The caller reported fuel was taken from a vehicle and wanted extra patrols.
10:41 a.m. A resident in the 500 block of Patricia Lane reported a telephone scam and the caller wanting them to send them money. The caller refused to send the money.
9:55 a.m. 911 call reporting a theft at the Hauck House. Bedford Police were notified.
9:16 a.m. Report of ducks in the roadway causing a traffic hazard in the 4600 block of U.S. 50 East. Police were unable to find the ducks.
8:53 a.m. 911 call reporting a theft in the 100 block of West Warren Street. Mitchell Police were notified.
7:36 a.m. 911 call requesting an ambulance because of a medical issue in the 2400 block of Stonnington Road. A Rural Metro ambulance and Marion VFD responded.
7:26 a.m. 911 call requesting an ambulance because a woman was having trouble breathing in the 500 block of Ind. 458. An IU Health Hospital ambulance and Indian Creek VFD responded.
4:44 a.m. A caller in the 200 block of Sunny Slopes Drive reported being woke by gunshots in the area. Police also heard the gunshots but were unable to locate where they were coming from.
12:23 a.m. 911 call requesting an ambulance to the 1500 block of 21st Street because of a possible overdose. An IU Health Hospital ambulance and Bedford Police responded.
12:10 a.m. Report of a domestic fight at the dead end of Oak Hill West. The caller reported the neighbor was arguing and yelling. There was no domestic fight, but an intoxicated male. The man was told to go inside for the night.
9:21 p.m. Report of a property damage accident in the 1700 block of Fayetteville Williams Road. Indian Creek VFD responded.
1:50 a.m. Truck/deer accident on Avoca Eureka Road.

12:55 a.m. Report of vandalism to a vehicle on Crandall Street.
2:29 a.m. Report of a suspicious male in the 100 block of West Mississippi. The man is wearing a yellow shirt and dark pants. The man left walking down the alley. Police were unable to locate the man.
5:56 a.m. A woman in the 100 block of West Vine Street request an officer because of a problem with an ex-boyfriend. The caller says he has been threatening her and her faimly through out the night and he just text her and says he is coming to her home. The woman will get a protecive order and the man, who was at the woman's home, was told to stop texting and threatening the woman and to stay away from her home.
8:55 a.m. A resident in the 100 block of West Frank Street reported the theft of a computer. She told police she believes her ex-boyfriend stole it. The woman told police she doesn't know his last name, but he was from Scottsburg.
9:36 a.m. Report of a dark colored vehicle parked where the school buses exit the high school at Ninth Street and Hancock Avenue and it has been parked there for more than 30 minutes. Police checked on the vehicle and found it was parked there because the owner was having a yard sale across the street.
10:45 a.m. Report of a domestic fight in the 300 block of Frank Street.
11:37 a.m. Report of a child's scooter left in a yard in the 1200 block of West Brook Street.
2:30 p.m. A resident in the 100 block of Main Street reported their small brown mix breed dog who answers to the name of Charlie is missing.
4:35 p.m. Report ofa man going up to several back doors along he alleyway between Orchard and Tulip Streets. Police were unable to locate the man.
4:12 p.m. An employee at JayC Store brought a purse to the police station.
8:30 p.m. Report of a fire in the alley between First and Second streets in the alley. Mitchell VFD responded. It was a controlled burn.
9:02 p.m. Report of a dispute with a teen in the 200 block of Rabbitsville Road.
9:35 p.m. Request for an officer to Elm Park 1 because an intoxicated man was coming up to her door and knocking and harassing her.
10:02 p.m. Report of a domestic fight between two females at Elm Park II. The problem was resolved.
10:13 p.m. Report of several suspicious males in front of Lost River Liqour Store. The men had left before police arrived.
10:25 p.m. A woman in the 300 block of West Warren Street reports a problem with a loose dog that attempted to bite her. The owner was advised and shortened the dog's chain.
10:40 p.m. A woman at Persimmon Park Apartments because a man she has a protective order against was causing problems. The man left the apartment.
12:44 a.m. A caller at Sixth and Warren street advised the bottom two apartments were flooded with water from upstairs and were unable to contact the building owner. The owner was advised and the water was turned off and the owner was going to make repairs and turn the water back on himself.
2:14 a.m. 911 call from a resident at Elm Park I reporting a man was hiting the front of her apartment and then running toward Hoosier Uplands Head Start. Police were unable to locate the man.
