August 7

3:17 a.m. Evan Lindsey, 18, homeless, illegal consumption.

August 6

2:56 p.m. Brian Curren, 34, Mitchell, failure to register trailer.

August 6

8:56 p.m. Report of three juveniles, two males and one female, breaking out windows at Architectural Stone Sales Of Bedford. The caller reported the teens saw her watching them and ran into Collins Trailer Court into one of the first trailers. One male had dark curly hair and was wearing a red shirt and white wife-beater t-shirt the female was in a gray hoodie and shorts. Officers were unable to locate the teens.

7:49 p.m. A stolen moped was recovered at 11th and R streets.

7:20 p.m. Report of a black 10-speed bike found at JayC Plus.

6:10 pm. A man was on station to report he lost $1,000 to $1,100 while at Papa's Bar & Grill.

6:03 p.m. Report of reckless driving at 19th Street and Washington Avenue.

4:56 p.m. A bike was found at Lincoln Plaza.

4:44 p.m. Walgreen's Drug Store reports prescription fraud.

4:26 p.m. Report of a man violating a no contract order in the 500 block of S Street.

3:45 p.m. A woman was on station to report fraud.

12:28 p.m. Report of an abandon vehicle at Garden Villa.

12:20 p.m. A person was on station to report a stolen check.

11:27 a.m. Report of illegal burning in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue. The person was told to put the fire out.

10:53 a.m. Report of a male and two females walking in the area of 19th and Denson Avenue with spray can. Police were unable to locate the people.

10:13 a.m. 911 call reporting damage to a vehicle. The caller says a rock was thrown into their windshield by a lawn mower and broke the glass. The mowing company will pay for the damages.

9:46 a.m. Report of a suspicious person at Thornton Skate Park doing possible drugs. Police spoke to the person and they were doing nothing wrong.

8:05 a.m. 911 call reporting a possible intoxicated driver in a gray Mitsubishi traveling west on U.S. 50 at Limestone Run Road.

2:13 a.m. 911 call reporting people running and in a domestic fight on Seventh Street onto Lincoln Avenue. Police the individuals involved were arguing about money.

3:49 a.m. Report of a man hanging around the storage shed at Circle K in the 700 block of 16th Street and the man was talking to himself.

August 6

8:06 p.m. Property damage accident at WalMart.

7:20 p.m. Property damage accident at GM Powertrain near the guard shack.

4:44 p.m. Property damage accident at Dunham's Sports.

3:20 p.m. 911 call reporting a property damage accident with the driver fled the scene on foot.

August 6

12:25 a.m. Joshua Terrell, 37, Norman, wanted on a warrant for theft and petition to revoke probation.

1 p.m. Joshua Brown, 37, Norman, theft.

2:45 p.m. Christopher Klepinger, Indianapolis, failure to appear.

7:02 p.m. James Henson, 42, 111 Lost Lane, battery causing injury, invasion of privacy, possession of marijuana under 30 grams.

11:40 p.m. Durant Hillenbrug, 27, 2411 K St., driving while driver's license suspended with prior convictions.

August 7

1:25 a.m. Police discoverd a door pried open on a building just east of the main office at Seiboldt Quarry. The officer also reported seeing a flash of light in one of the other buildings and found another door open and an alarm going off. The door was proped open. The manager was called and the buildings were secured. If is unclear if the damage is new or not and if it is new the managment will telephone officers.

August 6

11:57 p.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle at the Johavah Witness Church on SandPit Road. Police will make extra patrols.

9:55 p.m. Request for an ambulance because a man was having trouble breathing in the 4400 block of Ind. 158. A Rural Metro ambulance and Indian Creek Volunteer Fire Department responded.

6:56 p.m. Report of a civil dispute between neighbors in Fleetwood Addition.

6:35 p.m. Report of the theft of medication in the 400 block of Poplar Way.

6:35 p.m. Report of a missing person in the Springville area. The man was located.

5:46 p.m. Report of a domestic fight in the 100 block of Lost Lane.

5:25 p.m. A woman was on station to report her ex-boyfriend is harassing her.

4:34 p.m. The caller reported her son-in-law was trespassing on her property in the 500 block of North Jackson Street. Police will make extra patrols.

3:51 p.m. Report of a domestic fight in the 1000 block of Grandville Lane. There was no fight a female was having a medical problem.

3 p.m. Request for an ambulance to the 200 block of Standish Steel Road because a man was having chest pains. An IU Health Hospital ambulance and Guthrie VFD responded.

2:54 p.m. A woman in the 1100 block of Starr Lane reported a man was stalking her.

2:33 p.m. Request for an ambulance to the 1100 block of Peerless Road because a woman was not able to feel her legs. An IU Health Hospital and Shawswick VFD responded.

2:05 p.m. Request for a welfare check on a woman and her children in the 800 block of Smith Avenue in Oolitic.

9:56 a.m. Report of a possible burglary at Jones & Jones Realty. The lock had been cut off a storage building.

2:25 a.m. A man in the 200 block of Springville Judah Road reported receiving threats at work.

Mitchell Police Department
August 6

4:19 a.m. A man was on station to report he was receiving harassing phone calls and death threats.

6:25 a.m. Report that a woman keeps coming to the door of a home in the block of East Vine Street wanting to use the bathroom. The caller told the woman to leave and she is refusing to do that and told her she use to be her neighbor but had moved out several years ago. The caller reported this has been going on for the past 30 minutes. The woman was taken home.

11:53 a.m. A man was at Hatfield School talking to a family member. The caller says the man was arrested in Lawrence County for selling meth near a school. The caller reported there are several other men waiting for him in a red Dodge Ram and there may be possible drugs in the vehicle.

1:25 p.m. Report that a woman had just left a business on Main Street and in a black Saturn and was impaired and should not be driving. Police stopped the vehicle and the driver was fine.

1:50 p.m. A person at Elm Park reported she was being harassed by a woman who was making threats to harm her. The other woman was being evicted and she was blaming the caller and they are fighting over it. Police arrived and told both woman to stay away from each other.

2:05 p.m. A man was on station to report fraud. The officer was busy with another call and told dispatch it would be a few minutes. The man said he would leave and then come back, however he decided he would contact Indiana State Police about the problem and left.

4:40 p.m. Request for an ambulance to the 700 block of West Oak Street a woman was having trouble breathing. An IU Health Hospial ambulance and Mitchell VFD responded.

6:05 p.m. Report of a water leak at Rabbitsville Road and Burton Lane. There was no leak South Lawrence Water was flusing out a hydrant.

9:08 p.m. Request for extra patrols at Lakeside Estates.

10:14 p.m. The house supervisor at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital reported there was a suicidal man in the city. A Rural Metro ambulance responded and took the man to the hospital.

11:30 p.m. Request for extra patrol in the alley of the 500 block of West Warren Street.

11:48 p.m. Report of a possible prowler in the 200 block of West Main Street.

August 6

12:16 p.m. Property damage accident at Third and Frank streets.
