Bedford Police Department
10:30 a.m. James King, 37, 199 Curve Lane, wanted on a warrant for failure to appear, possession of meth over 30 grams with the intent to deal, public intoxication, possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a common nusiance.
10:50 a.m. Melissa Fletcher, 38, 199 Curve Lane, opearing a vehicle while imparied under a controlled substance, possession of meth over 30 grams with the intent to deal.
No log was available this morning because the department is installing a new computer system.

11:40 a.m. Justin Patton, 25, 301 N St., opearting a vehicle whiel intoxicated.
Lawrence County Police
2:20 a.m. A caller in the 600 block of Trinton Circle reports her dogs were barking and ran to the back door. The resident asked for an officer to check the area. Police will make extra patrols.
12:52 a.m. 911 call reporting a bike was stolen from Crawford Street.
9:08 p.m. Request for an ambulance to the 1000 block of Walnut Street because a juvenile was harming herself. An IU Health Hospital ambulance and Oolitic Volunteer Fire Department responded.
9:02 p.m. Request for an ambulance to the 1400 block of Ridge Road because a man was having a medical issue. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded.
8:45 p.m. A woman requested to speak to an officer on Ind. 60 west, west of the dumpsters, because a man had inappropriately touched her.
7:20 p.m. Report of an irratic driver on U.S. 50 near Leesville.
6:15 p.m. Report of a civil dispute in the 2000 block of Fairview Mundell Road in Heltonville. Those involved were seperated.
6:10 p.m. Report of three abandoned dogs in a home in the 400 block of North Jackson Street.
5:30 p.m. Report of a civil dispute in the 2000 block of Fairview Mundell Road in Heltonville involving five people. The parties were seperated.
3:10 p.m. A resident in the 2100 block of Guthrie Road reported her neighbor's cats were causing problems.
2:59 p.m. A resident in the 500 block of Rivervale Camp Road reported their neighbor was yelling at them and video taping her while she was in her yard.
2:45 p.m. Report of a vehicle being broken into in the 200 block of The Woods. The residents has video of the break in.
2:28 p.m. Report of a possible intoxicated driver on Ind. 37 traveling south from the Judah stop light. The driver checked okay.
2:25 p.m. Report of a neighbor's pit bull killing chickens in the 200 block of Fort Ritner Road.
2:23 p.m. Report of five dogs running loose and bothering children in the 300 block of Poplar Trail.
1:54 p.m. Report of a stray cat problem in the 100 block of Tunnel Street.
1:49 p.m. Request for an ambulance because an elderly woman had fallen and hit her head. A passerby helped the woman into her home. An IU Health Hospital ambulance and Shawswick VFD responded.
1:13 p.m. Request for an ambulance because a woman had fallen in the 30 block of Popcorn Road. A Rural Metro ambulance and Perry VFD responded.
1:10 p.m. A woman requested to speak to an officer in the 220 block of Standish Steel Road because her daughter was stealing items.
12:29 p.m. Report of a home filled with smoke in the 500 block of Sunny Acres Drive. Shawswick and Guthrie VFD responded along with a Rural Metro ambulance and TOPES.
12:10 p.m. Request for an officer to check on a man and woman with two small children walking on South Leatherwood Road near Tunnelton Road. The caller reported the man and woman were arguing. Police gave the couple a ride into Bedford.
11:58 a.m. 911 call requesting an ambulance to the Great Escape because of a health issue. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded.
11:39 a.m. A resident in the 2900 block of Mount Pleasant Road reported finding sick kittens.
11:29 a.m. Report of a civil dispute between neighbors in the 200 block of River Cabin Road.
11 a.m. Request for an ambulance to the 4100 block of South I Street because an elderly woman was having medical problems. An IU Health Hospital ambulance and Shawswick VFD responded.
10:39 a.m. Officers investigated a report of a strange odor in the 2500 block of Middle Leesville Road. Officers could not locate a problem.
10:08 a.m. Report of a stray cat problem in the 400 block of Sasser Drive.
9:45 a.m. A resident in the 200 block of Fort Ritner Road reported his neighbor's pit bull was killing his chickens.
9:20 a.m. Report of a domestic fight in the 300 block of Leatherwood Road. The problem was resolved.
8:36 a.m. Report of a possible intoxicated driver in a silver Sunfire on Hoosier Avenue in Oolitic.
7:30 a.m. Report of a brush fire at Parkview Track. Pleasant Run VFD responded. According to Pleasant Run Fire Chief Steve Nolan there was no brush fire. Firefighters were at the track for a pack test for the U.S. Forest Service. A pack test is where a person wears a 45 pound pack and has to walk three miles in 45 minutes. Nolan says the test is given to those who go out west to help battle forest fires.
6:17 a.m. Report of an intoxicated driver traveling west on Ind. 60 east and entering Mitchell.
12:31 a.m. Report of a horse and mule out on Fleenor Road.
Mitchell Police Department
2:35 a.m. Darick Reynolds, 35, 575 Dean St., domestic battery in the presence of a minor.
6:18 a.m. A motorist reports she was behind a red Ford on Ind. 60 West nearing Ind. 37. The vehicle pulled into McDonalds. Police reported no one was around the vehicle when they arrived.
11:03 a.m. A resident on Wright Street reported her daughter had taken several Xanex and was now having problems. A Rural Metro ambulance responded. The woman refused to go to the hospital.
12:36 p.m. 911 hang up call from the Mitchell PublicLibrary. There was no problem they were working on the fire alarm.
2:50 p.m. Report of an electricl fire in the 600 block of West Main Street. Mitchell VFD responded. Duke Energy was contacted to shut off the power. There was no fire, just smoke. The fire department was back on station at 2:55 p.m.
5:44 p.m. Request for an ambulance because a person had a broken foot and wanted to go to IU Health Hospital in Paol. A Rural Metro ambulance responded.
5:44 p.m. Request to speak to an officer in the 500 block of South Seventh Street because of a problem with another person. The person had left the home. Police reported it was a civil dispute and the caller needed to contact an attorney.
7:09 p.m. A man in the 600 block of Brook Street reported a theft.
8:28 p.m. A woman was on station to report harassment.
9 p.m. A resident in the 300 block of Bartlett Driver reported someone had ran into her fence.
9:44 p.m. Report of a battery in the 500 block of Dean Street. A man was arrested.
10:17 p.m. Report of a suspicious black SUV driving slowly back and forth in front of Persimmon Park Apartments.
10:44 p.m. A woman at the Marathon Station on Ind. 37 requested an ambulance for her boyfiend who had been involved in a fight. A Rural Metro ambulance responded and the man was taken to Bloomington Hospital.
