Bedford Police Department
7:53 p.m. Matthew Green, 24, 516 Forestview Drive, wanted on a warrant for petition to revoke probation.
7:10 p.m. Stephen Lagle, 37, 2600 6th St. Apt. 16B, wanted on a warrant petition to modify house arrest.
1:43 p.m. Zandariah Hill, 28, 1516 18th St., wanted on a warrant for violation of house arrest.
8:19 a.m. Luke Baer, 23, 1822 F St., wanted on a warrant for petition to revoke probation.
6:40 p.m. Michelle Arthur, 25, 1250 Dixie Highway, driving while driver's license suspended, false or fictitious registration.
5:53 p.m. Amber Kern, 34, 1215 North Pike Rd., speeding.
9:19 p.m. Report of a male in dark pants and a red shirt walking back and forth on 12th Street between the 1500 and 1400 block and had been doing this for about 15 minutes. There was no problem the man lived in the neighborhood and was just out walking.
9:03 p.m. Request for extra patrols at Stone City Collision because people were hanging around the fence and when they were noticed took off running.
7:50 p.m. Attempted breaking and entering in the 2700 block of Broadview Drive.
7:10 p.m. 911 a fire alarm was sounding at 6th and G Street. The Bedford Fire Department responded. There was no fire.
6 p.m. Report of a man and boy walking on Mitchell Road near 22nd Street. The caller says the man had the boy by the arm and was pulling him along and the boy was resisting. Police say it was a father and his 10-year-old boy and the boy didn't want to hold his father's hand because he was being treated like a baby.
4:37 p.m. A man was on station reporting two males and two females who had a baby and were asking people for money to get to Bloomington at the JayC Fuel Station.
4:38 p.m. A trooper from Versailles Post requesting police to attempt to locate a male about a vehicle parked in their county. Police went to one location and the man did not live there. They then went to a second location and the man told them he had sold the vehicle a year ago.
3:52 p.m. Report of a woman panhandling on Ind. 37 and U.S. 50 causing a traffic hazard. The woman was told to get out of the roadway.
2:33 p.m. Report of a theft at Core Nursing Home.
1:56 p.m. 911 call requesting an ambulance to Stalker Elementary School. because a 9-year-old had broken his arm. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded.
1:01 p.m. A woman was on station to report harassment.
1:10 p.m. Report of a custody dispute in the 700 block of 19th Street.
12:45 p.m. A man was on station to report embezzlement at O'Neal Insurance.
12:12 p.m. A man was on station to report the theft of an air conditioning/ heating unit. The man had paid for the unit in advance and the contractor has not completed installing the unit.
12:11 p.m. A person called police to report finding possible drugs in the bushes at Big Lots. The items were removed and destroyed.
10:34 a.m. 911 call requesting an ambulance to the 700 block of O Street because a male had fallen and was unresponsive. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded.
10:32 a.m. 911 call reporting a fuel leak at JayC Fuel Station. Bedford Fire Department responded.
8:33 a.m. 911 call requesting an ambulance in the 200 block of 20th Street because of a health problem. An IU Health Hospital responded.
2:19 p.m. Property damage accident at WalMart.
10:57 a.m. 911 call reporting a property damage accident at Circle K on L Street.
Lawrence County Police
4:50 a.m. Julia Harper, 25, 915 H St., possession of a schedule II controlled substance.
1:05 p.m. Sarah Myers, 18, 78 S Hill Dr., manufacturing meth, possession of meth, possession of precursors with intent to manufacture.
1:09 a.m. 911 call reported the caller's granddaughter had taken a whole bottle of Tylonol and is vomiting and she was going to take her to the hospital and then hung up.
12:48 a.m. Report of a male in a white Ford Ranger stopping at a home in the 900 block of Peerless Road and asked to use the phone. The caller refused the man and he left. Police were unable to locate the man.
11:58 p.m. Report of a domestic fight in the 600 block of Stevens Lane. The woman reported her husbande was getting violent. The man left the home.
10:21 p.m. Report of a suspicious young man stopping at a home in the 7100 block of Ind. 158 East and asking to use the phone. The caller refused to let the man use the phone and he was walking when a person in a convertable drove by and the man lunged toward the vehicle when it wouldn't stop. The man then began running north headed toward Ind. 446.
9:52 p.m. Request for an ambulance because a man fainted at Johnny's Junction.
9 p.m. A resident in the 2600 block of West Powerline Road reported her son had possible stolen items. Police checked the items and none had been reported stolen.
8:33 p.m. Report of a suspicious man in the 7300 block of Ind. 446 knocking on doors and asking to use the phone. The caller refused and now the man was walking toward the creek.
7:59 p.m. Report of a 10-year-old riding a cooter in the highway on Ind. 58 in Heltonville. Police spoke to the child and his parents.
2:39 p.m. Request for a welfare check on a person in the 2700 block of Ind. 158.
1:19 p.m. Report of a theft in the 100 block of Bridwell Street.
12:39 p.m. 911 call requesting an ambulance to the 700 block of North Ind. 37 because a man was suffering a heart attack. An IU Health Hospital and Marshall and Oolitic VFD responded.
10:23 a.m. Request for an ambulance to South I Street because a woman was having a medical issue. Shawswick VFD responded. The woman was taken to the hospital by private vehicle.
10:17 a.m. A man was on station to report he was being harassed by another man at work and at his home in Maple Run Boulevard.
9:54 a.m. Request for an ambulance to the 700 block of Star Boulevard at the Larc Center because a female had fallen. Shawswick VFD responded and the woman was taken to the hospital by private vehicle.
8:24 a.m. 911 call requesting ambulance to the 400 block of West 10th Street in Oolitic because a woman was having a medical issue. A Rural Metro ambulance and Oolitic VFD responded.
8:07 a.m. Several calls reporting cattle out on Ind. 37 South.
5:59 a.m. Request for an ambulance to the 400 block of Kentucky Hollow Road because a woman had fallen. An IU Health Hospital and Marshall and Oolitic VFD responded.
Mitchell Police Department
2:54 a.m. Request for an officer to the 200 block of Main Street because someone was throwing rocks at her home.
5:01 a.m. A woman was on station to report a fire at Fifth and Oak Street. When police arrived they found a person sleeping in a truck and they had a small fire. The person was told to put out the fire.
9:22 a.m. Report of a drunk person standing at the corner of Rabbitsville and Doc Hamilton Boulevard. Police were unable to find the person.
2:05 p.m. 911 call requesting an ambulance to the 900 Block of W. Warren Street because a woman was having a medical issue. A Rural Metro ambulance and Mitchell VFD responded.
4:15 p.m. A woman from Camelot Courts was on station to file a battery report.
4:15 p.m. Report of reckless driving on Ind. 37 and Hancock Avenue. The driver was in a yellow GMC truck and was last seen driving south on Ind. 37. Orleans officers were contacted.
5:07 p.m. Request for extra patrol in the 400 block of North Third Street because of an intoxicated driver leaving the location in a light blue Buick.
6 p.m. A man from Persimmon Park Apartments requested an officer because of a problem with another person. The man was told to come on station if he wanted to file charges.
6:35 p.m. A resident in the 1800 block of Ind. 60 east reported their neighbor had built a shooting rang and was concerned about safety. The resident was told to contact Lawrence County Police because the location of the range was out of the city limits.
6:55 p.m. A resident in Green Acres Trailer Park reported juveniles were causing problems.
9:12 p.m. Report that a possible drunk driver hit at stop sign at the corner of Wade Street and Bartlett Drive. Police were unable to locate the vehicle, but someone had hit the stop sign and drove through a yard.
11:40 p.m. Request for an ambulance because a 65-year-old man had been stung by a bee. Mitchell VFD responded. The man refused an ambulance.
