July 22

5:31 p.m. Christopher Mannix II, 24, wanted on a warrant in Marion County for theft and receiving stolen property.

4:02 p.m. Charles Riggs, 38, Mitchell, wanted on a warrant for failure to appear on a public intoxication charge, public intoxication on a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, possession of heroin, possession of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of heroin within 1,000 feet of a school.

5:11 p.m. Darek Graves, 36, Mitchell, false or fictitious registration.

9:02 p.m. 911 call reporting a physical domestic fight in the 2200 block of H Street. The male involved had left the home. The woman did not want to file charges. She told police she would contact the landlord and have the locks changed and seek an eviction notice for the man.

9:39 p.m. Report of a cat stuck in a drain in the 800 block of 13th Street. Animal Control was notified.

9:21 p.m. Request fro a welfare check on an elderly woman in he 1400 block of 19h Street. The woman was fine.

8:16 p.m. Report of someone riding a go cart in the alley between C and D streets.

7:46 p.m. A woman was on station to report harassment.

7:11 p.m. Report that a man in the 200 block of 19th Street is not letting a woman retrieve her property.

6:40 p.m. Report of juveniles loitering and urinating in the parking lot of Tractor Supply. The juveniles were told to leave the lot.

6:29 p.m. The caller reported finding a small child walking in the middle of the roadway in the 300 block of 19th Street. The caller took the child home and now requested a welfare check on the child. No one was home when police arrived.

6:27 p.m. A woman reported her items were stolen from a home in the 2900 block of Washington Avenue.

6:09 p.m. Report of a theft at WalMart.

6:02 p.m. Report of two males smoking possible drugs in the 300 block of S Street.

5:12 p.m. A woman was on station asking questions about a lease agreement.

4:16 p.m. A man reported finding a bike that matched the one he reported stolen a few days ago at Thorton Park. The bike was his and was returned.

4:02 p.m. 911 call reporting two males in a green Toyota were parked in front of Oakland City University. One of the men was hanging out of the vehicle and being irate. Police arrested one of the men.

3:49 p.m. A man was on station to report receiving a bad check.

3:45 p.m. Report of a domestic fight in a vehicle, a 4-door Toyota Camery, traveling south from Johnny's Junction.

3:31 p.m. Report that a blond woman in a red newer Mustang failed to pay for fuel at Knucklehead Bends.

3:18 p.m. Request for an ambulance to Subway at I and 16th streets because of a male was having a medical issue. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded.

2:34 p.m. Report of a suspicious person mowing the lawn at a vacant home in the 3600 block of River Bluff Road. The caller reported that this person was not the person who normally mowed the lawn. Police said the person had a work order to mow the lawn, but did tell the person their registration was false or fititious.

1:02 p.m. A resident in the 1900 block of Steven Avenue received a call from (876) 841-9230 from Publisher's Clearing House wanting the caller to go to WalMart and purchase a PayPal credit card to pay taxes of $2,500 on winnings.

12:42 p.m. Report of finding a possible stolen bike in their yard in the 700 block of 22nd Street.

12:01 Theft of a bicycle from the 2700 block of U Street.

11 a.m. Report of a man driving a lawn mower with a trailer and obstructing traffic at 16th and O streets. Police were unable to locate the person.

10:49 a.m. Report of four possible intoxicated males at a hoem at 12th and S streets. Police say the men never left the yard.

10:30 a.m. 19th Street will be closed today, Wednesday and Thursday because First Baptist Church will be hosting a clinic.

10:09 a.m. Report of illegal parking of a camper at 4th and M streets.

7:14 a.m. Report of a theft at WalMart.

7:08 a.m. Request for an ambulance to the Hauck House because of a medical issue. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded.

7:15 p.m. Property damage accident with a vehicle leaving the scene at McDonalds.

6:52 p.m. Property damage accident with a vehicle leaving the scene at 16th and O streets.

9:41 a.m. Property damage accident on the west side of the courthouse square.

1:04 p.m. Victor Murray, 38, 1314 Fifth St., wanted on a warrant for failure to appear on a parole violation.

12:58 a.m. A resident in the 6200 block of Sandpit Road reports someone was in their home with a flashlight. Police were unable to locate anyone in the home and nothing was missing.

July 22

10:48 p.m. Martin County Police request Williams Volunteer Fire Department to assist with removing a tree from the roadway on Ind. 450.

9:50 p.m. Report of cattle in the roadway in the 400 block of Raiden Hill Road.

9:45 p.m. A resident in the 2900 block of South I Street reports a possible scam and fraud.

8:52 p.m. Report of eight people involved in a fight in the 1900 block of Dixie Highway. The fight was settled when police arrived.

6:43 p.m. Report of a burglary and items missing from a home in the 3000 block of Tunnelton Bono Road.

4 p.m. A person as on station to report receiving a bad check.

1:15 p.m. Report of a rolling domestic fight on Ind. 446. The car was now pulled to the side of the road and possible involved in an accident in front of Free Spirit Campground. There was no accident. It was a road rage incident.

12:58 p.m. A man was on station to turn himself in.

10:32 a.m. A person in the 500 block of Shores Lane reports being stalked and harassed.

10:05 a.m. Report of horses in the roadway on Hunters Creek Road.

9:42 a.m. A resident in the 8000 block of Suddarth Lane in Campbellsburg reports someone stole two salvage air conditioning units.

9:28 a.m. 911 call requesting an ambulance to the 100 block of Mill Street because a man had fallen. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded.

7:22 a.m. Request for an ambulance to Spring Mill Bible Camp because a 13-year-old was having a seizuer. A Rural Metro ambulance and Marion VFD responded.

2:46 a.m. Report of two people breaking into a home in the 500 block of Grissom Avenue. The woman will file charges against those involved.


7:29 a.m. Request for an ambulance because of an illness at a home on Ind. 60. A Rural Metro ambulance responded.

8:04 a.m. Request for an ambulance to Hamilton Boulevard because of an illness. A Rural Metro ambulance and Mitchell VFD responded.

9:13 a.m. A resident at Camelot Court reports a male with a beard entered his apartment on Saturday and he hit the man and the man ran out the back door.

2:17 p.m. A resident at Persimmon Park Apartment reported a theft.

3:30 p.m. A resident on Crawford Street complained about the semi truck traffic on the roadway.

5:28 p.m. Report of a pit bull running loose in the 400 block of North Seventh Street. Police were unable to locate the dog.

5:45 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 600 block of Warren Street. Police say everything was fine.

7:10 p.m. Report of a person causing a disturbance at a home in the 200 block of Bartlett Drive. It was a domestic fight between a mother and son. The son left the home.

7:25 p.m. Request for an ambulance o the 400 block of West Brook Street because a man was slurring his works and had breathing problems. A Rural Metro ambulance and Mitchell VFD responded.

9:40 p.m. Report of a fight in the 600 block of Warren Street. Police spoke with those involved.

10:45 p.m. Officers checked on young juveniles riding their bikes on West Warren Street. Their parents were advised.

11:54 p.m. Police found juveniles out after curfew. The children were told about the violation and told to go home.
