Bedford Police Department
10:21 p.m. Allen Doty, 27, Indianapolis, wanted on a warrant for probation violation.
6:14 p.m. Melanie Foster, 17, Oxford, MS, speeding.
6:23 p.m. Joshua Stevens, 29, 525 S St., speeding.
4:26 p.m. Sara Kasprzycki, 596 Briarwood Lane, disregarding a stop sign.
2:32 p.m. Angela Butcher, 34, 2454 Mt. Pleasant Rd., speeding.
11:11 a.m. Rachel Hart, 32, Bloomington, speeding.
12:37 a.m. Report of someone attempting to break into an apartment at Pines Apartments. Police were unable to locate anyone in the area.
1:17 a.m. Report of a person failing to pay for $35 in fuel at Jackson's Mini-Mart.
1:25 a.m. Request for an ambulance to WalMart because an associate had passed out. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded.
8:49 p.m. Report of 9 large hay bails in the roadway at Ind. 450 and Ind. 158. Most of the bails had rolled to the side of the road. Police pushed the others out of the roadway.
8 p.m. Report of a person on a dirt bike racing up and down the alley and roadway in the 2000 block of 12th Street. The person told police they were working on the bike and would keep it off the road.
7:13 p.m. Report of a child custody dispute in the 700 block of U Street.
6:43 p.m. Police cleared juveniles loiting at Thornton Park Pavillion.
6:03 p.m. Report of a suspicious odor in the area of the 800 block of 14th Street. Police were unable to locate any problem.
5:42 p.m. Guardian Medical requested an ambulance to the 2600 block of Clover Lane because a female was suffering from chest pain. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded.
2:19 p.m. Police cleared juveniles loiting at Thornton Park Pavillion because a funeral service was going on right next to the Pavillion.
2:45 p.m. Police cleared the parking lot at John Lowery Pool because juveniles were loitering, smoking and riding skateboards.
2:16 p.m. 911 call requesting an ambulance because of a an unresponsive male at a home in the 300 block of Heltonville Road. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded.
2:12 p.m. Parking problem in the 500 block of 18th Street.
1:43 p.m. 911 call reporting a live electrical wire down in the 3700 block of Riverbluff Road.
11:42 a.m. Report of people parking in the handicap parking spaces at WalMart.
11:07 a.m. Report of vandalism in the 1400 block of P Street.
9:28 a.m. Report that a woman's wallet was found in the 1900 block of I Street.
10:19 a.m. A woman was on station about a child custody dispute.
6:12 a.m. Request for extra patrol because a neighbor boy was shooting a pellet gun toward a home in the 1700 block of 25th Street.
5:04 p.m. Property damage acciddnet at 12th and L streets. Bedford Fire Department and the Street Department cleaned up an oil spill.
9:03 a.m. Property damage accident at 16th and H streets.
Lawrence County Police
3:15 p.m. Stormy Moore, 39, Paoli, wanted on a warrant for failure to appear.
10:39 p.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle at Otis park.
10:33 p.m. Report of a possible burglary in progress in a home in the 400 block of Summer Lake Drive because there was someone in the home with a flashlight. Police said it was a woman taking care of pets.
9:54 p.m. 911 call requesting an ambulance in the 4400 block of Leesville Road because a 19-year-old female had passed out. An IU Health Hospital ambulance and Gurthrie VFD responded.
9:28 p.m. Request for an officer because a woman reported that her son was at his grandmother's home in the 90 block of Foxridge Road and was refusing to leave with her. The woman did have custody of the boy and eventually he left the home with his mother after Children Service spoke to both parties.
9:15 p.m. Request for an ambulance to the 1600 block of Copperhead Valley Road because a man was having problems breathing. A Rural Metro ambulance and Huron Volunteer Fire Department responded.
8:51 p.m. Report of a person riding a 4-wheeler racing up and down the roads, running stop signs and burning out their tires on Liberty and Farmer streets in East Oolitic. Police spoke with a 15-year-old boy and his mother.
8:38 p.m. Report of three possible intoxicated males trespassing in the 180 block of Old Turnpike Road. Police spoke to all parties involved.
8:09 p.m. A person called reporting their grandmother who lives in Luther Michigan was having trouble breathing. The person was told to call their grandmother back and have her call 911 for medical assistance.
3:55 p.m. A Duke Energy employee request an officer to the 6700 block of Ind. 54 West because a person was making threats. The person was stealing electricity and the Duke Energy employee disconnected the main from the home.
3:39 a.m. Report of a civil dispute between a woman and her grandson in the 4100 block of Ind. 60 West.
3:25 p.m. Report of vandalism to a mailbox in the 1500 block of Trogen Lane. Police will make extra patrols.
3:18 p.m. A woman in the 1800 block of Guthrie Road requested an officer because her mother was there causing a disturbance and she wanted her to leave. The woman left the home.
2:25 p.m. Ohio Veneer logging yard inthe 4400 block of Ind. 60 West reports someone had stolen the heat pump from outside the business.
12:45 p.m. Report of unsafe shooting in the 200 block of Woodsferry Road.
11:14 a.m. Request for a welfare check on a woman in the 2000 block of Fleenor Road.
9:57 a.m. A person was on station to report fraud.
7:49 a.m. The Highway Department reported that Popcorn Road bridge was closed for repairs and will be closed for about four weeks.
6:10 a.m. Guardian Alert requested an ambulance for the 200 block of Standish Steel Road. An IU Health Hospital and Shawswick VFD responded.
11:08 p.m. Accident with injury on U.S. 50 West. Huron VFD and IU Health Hospial responded.
8:03 a.m. Property damage accident on Rocky Creek East.
Mitchell Police Department
4:27 a.m. A woman in the 100 block of West Grissom Avenue reported hearing voices outside her window. Officers checked the home and couldn't find anyone.
4:41 a.m. A caller in the 500 block of South 8th Street reports there was a suspicious male in the area possibly attempting to get into vehicles. Police spoke to the male and he was given a ride to Newby and Stevens streets.
8:30 a.m. A Bedford Recycling employee reports a male was there and left a newly painted bike and left.
11 a.m. Report that someone had broke into a metal shed at the First Christian Church and stole an older Craftman lawnmower.
4:55 p.m. Report of a black snake in a yard in the 400 block of South 9th Street. The snake was killed.
4:45 p.m. Report a male had a bike accident at 8th and Frank Streets and someone had taken him to the 900 block of West Warran Street, but now he was concerned he may have a broken leg and requested an ambulance. A Rural Metro ambulance responded.
5:51 p.m. Request for an officer to the 400 block of North Seventh Street because there was a woman in the driveway refusing to leave. Police says the dispute was over a vehicle that the person had loaned to the caller.
8:30 p.m. A resident at Camolot Court reports harassment. Police spoke with all invovled.
9:45 p.m. A resident in the 1100 block of Camolot Courts reports having problems with a person harassing her.
11:04 p.m. Report of a suspicious man sitting on the back steps of the laundry mat. Police spoke to the man who said he was just hot and sat down to rest.
12:41 a.m. Report of a dog chasing a vehicle in the 400 block of Wade Street.
1:17 a.m. Request for an ambulance to the 600 block of Warren Street because a woman was extremely intoxicated and possibly suffering withdraws. Mitchell VFD responded.
