  • 1:40 a.m. Brysonn Humphrey, 20, 1820 5th St., illegal consumption, minor in possession of an alcoholic beverage, resisting arrest

  • 5:18 a.m. 911 call in the 100 block of Mount Pleasant Road. It was an accidental call
  • 7:21 a.m. Deputies made extra patrols at Needmore Elementary
  • 7:28 a.m. Controlled fire at US 50 West and Grandma Brown Road
  • 7:29 a.m. Medical emergency in the 3520 block of Tunnelton Road. A 68-year-old woman was out of her mind and throwing stuff. She was taken to IU Health Bedford for an evaluation
  • 7:55 a.m. Deputies made extra patrols in the 210 block of Middle Avenue
  • 8:21 .am. 911 call. The caller says it was an accidental call
  • 8:34 a.m. Controlled fire in the 980 block of Porter Burton Road
  • 9:05 a.m. Follow up investigation at McDonald's on 16th Street
  • 9:10 a.m. Mitchell Police called information on a traffic ticket
  • 9:18 a.m. Controlled fire in the 480 block of Greer Lane
  • 9:23 a.m. Followup investigation on a vehicle theft case in the 1320 block of 13th Street
  • 10:24 a.m. Report of a suspicious person on Peerless road near the Shawswick Fire Department. An elderly male is sitting at the edge of the road with his legs in the roadway throwing rocks in the roadway. The male was gone when police arrived
  • 10:26 a.m. Report of an erratic driver in a silver truck pulling a trailer with lawnmower northbound on State Road 37 from Oolitic
  • 10:51 a.m. Medical emergency at Elliott Stone. A person fell and injured their leg
  • 11:14 a.m. An unwanted person in the 120 block of Indian Creek Road. A male was given a courtesy ride
  • 11:52 a.m. Theft in the 910 block of West Main Street. An Xbox was stolen
  • 12:05 p.m. Request for animal control in the 1580 block of State Road 60 East. A small dog has been kept in a shed for about three years and the collar is rubbing the dog's hair off. The dog is losing all its fur and covered in fleas. The owner was advised
  • 12:06 p.m. 911 call in the 7280 block of State Road 54 West. There was no problem
  • 12:32 p.m. Abandoned vehicle in the 4160 block of US 50 West
  • 12:33 p.m. Request to speak to an officer regarding a missing female. The caller received information the missing female was in Macon, Georgia with a friend. The missing female is mentally unstable and requests to know what the next step it if she goes to get her and she refuses to leave
  • 12:47 p.m. 911 call in the 600 block of South 8th Street. No contact could be made
  • 12:53 p.m. Report of a camper on fire in the 229 block of Knob Creek. The Red Cross was contacted because the camper was a total loss. At 2:46 p.m. Additional manpower was requested
  • 12:55 p.m. Animal control to the 810 block of Coveyville Road. The neighbor's dog is running loose
  • 12:58 p.m. Medical emergency in the 220 block of Main Street. An elderly woman was suffering from high blood pressure
  • 1:14 p.m. Alarm sounding at the Mitchell Public Library. It was a false alarm
  • 2 p.m. Traffic stop at Hillside Estates off State Road 58 East
  • 2:50 p.m. Agency assist in the 2920 block of Mitchell Road
  • 2:57 p.m. Deputies made extra patrols at CrossRoads Church for several vehicles coming into the lot and dumping beer bottles
  • 3:04 p.m. Deputies ran radar in the school zone in Oolitic
  • 3:12 p.m. Traffic stop in the 1750 block of Hancock Avenue
  • 3:14 p.m. Medical emergency in the 2210 block of South Leatherwood Road. A 22-year-old female was having trouble breathing
  • 3:18 p.m. Animal control at 12th and K streets. A citation was issued to Robert Cummings for failure to restrain his dog
  • 3:39 p.m. 911 call southbound on State Road 37. Orange County Police were alerted
  • 3:40 p.m. A woman was on station to report trespassing in the 100 block of Jaye Lane and someone removed items from her residence
  • 3:41 p.m. Traffic stop at Mitchell and Sand Pit roads
  • 4:16 p.m. Traffic stop at Cresthaven
  • 3:52 p.m. Vandalism in the 1240 block of Peerless Road. The caller says he has video of various semi trucks hitting his mailbox. Police say there was no criminal intent, no vandalism. Mailbox had been damaged along time ago.
  • 4:08 p.m. Report that someone opened a pump at Mr. C's and they are afraid someone was attempting to place a scammer on the pump
  • 4:09 p.m. Animal control requested to the 100 block of Woodlawn Village needed a trap for a stray
  • 5 p.m. Citizen assist in the 1440 block of Starr Lane
  • 5:44 p.m. Erratic driver in a gray or black Mazda southbound on Rabbitsville Road
  • 6:09 p.m. 911 call in the 1410 block of Deckard Drive. There was no issue
  • 6:15 p.m. Deputies were out with a vehicle at Huron Williams and Clarks Ferry roads
  • 6:20 p.m Burglary to a storage unit in the 320 block of North Lawrence Street
  • 6:24 p.m. Document service in the 110 block of Springville Judah Road
  • 6:46 p.m. Alarm sounding at Tieman Tire. It was a false alarm
  • 7:10 p.m. 911 call in the 410 block of 22nd Street. Bedford Police was alerted
  • 7:31 p.m. Erratic driver in a grey Ford Escape at State Road 37 at the Oolitic stop light
  • 8:16 p.m. Medical emergency in the 260 block of Woodsferry Road. An elderly male was having trouble breathing and feeling weak
  • 8:18 p.m An inmate was taken to IU Health Bedford Hospital
  • 8:22 p.m. Report of unsafe shooting in the 4140 block of Fort Ritner Road
  • 8:31 p.m. 911 call from the REMC building in Orleans. Orange County Police alerted
  • 8:34 p.m. 911 call at an unknown location. A voicemail was left and text message sent
  • 9:08 p.m. Traffic stop at Doc Hamilton Boulevard, east of State Road 37
  • 9:27 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a blue Honda southbound on State Road 37 from the river bridge. The driver is speeding up, slowing down and slamming on their brakes
  • 9:32 p.m. 911 call in the 1110 block of Orchard Street. It was an accidental call
  • 9:41 p.m. Officers were out with a person at North 7th and West Main Street in Mitchell
  • 10:21 p.m. Traffic stop at Rabbitsville Road and Doc Hamilton Boulevard
  • 11:06 p.m. Traffic stop at the Oolitic stoplight and State Road 37
  • 11:12 p.m. A female was on station to report her daughter came home from her father's today and says he has been touching her inappropriately since she was five
  • 11:21 p.m. Deputies made extra patrols at Crossroads Church

  • 12:13 a.m. Domestic fight in the 1620 block of State Road 54 in a neighbor's driveway
  • 12:54 a.m. Report of a suspicious male at Hancock Avenue, west of Knott Street. Two males carrying a white bag and flashlights and going house to house picking up stuff and looking in mailboxes. Police were unable to locate the males but will make extra patrols
  • 1:01 a.m. An inmate needed to be transported to a local hospital
  • 4:22 a.m. Vandalism at Persimmon Park Apartment. The caller says someone busted out a windshield of a vehicle
  • 4:28 a.m. Medical emergency in the 4180 block of Dixie Highway for a cancer patient
