  • 9:44 a.m. Fire alarm sounded at Stalker Apartments. It was a false alarm
  • 9:02 a.m. Unlawful entry in the 220 block of Rawlins Road
  • 8:46 a.m. Alarm testing in the 900 block of Hoosier Avenue
  • 8:44 a.m. Traffic stop at 16th and Beech streets
  • 7:24 a.m. School patrols
  • 4:16 a.m. medical emergency in the 2020 block of Plaza Drive. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded
  • 3:09 a.m. Agency assist in the 1250 block of Springville Judah Road
  • 2:51 a.m. Open door found at Penn Station
  • 1:21 a.m. Domestic fight in the 700 block of 15th Street
  • 12:53 a.m. Suspicious person in the 700 block of 15th Street
  • 12:24 a.m. Medical emergency in the 120 block of Forest Park Drive. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded

  • 11:22 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1600 block of 9th Street. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded
  • 11:16 p.m. Information report taken in the 1400 block of R Street
  • 10:28 p.m. Suspicious person in the 300 block of Shandell Drive
  • 10:23 p.m.Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Fifth Street
  • 9:50 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 1320 block of James Avenue
  • 9:23 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 510 block of Skyline Drive

Accidents - April 12

  • 1:55 p.m. Property damage with a vehicle leaving the scene at IU Health Hospital

Arrests - April 12

  • 5:54 a.m. Kevin Hardwick, 54, Springville, operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol level of 0.15 percent or greater
  • 1 p.m. Elijah Dyer, 32, Columbus, wanted on a warrant for petition to revoke
  • 4:15 p.m. Thomas Nordhoff, 21, Heltonville, wanted on a warrant for petition to revoke

Incidents - April 12

  • 6:24 a.m. Vandalism in the 280 block of Standish Steel Drive. A headstone and mailbox were destroyed
  • 6:53 a.m. Request for animal control to the 510 block of Fayetteville Williams Road. A deer was stuck in a fence and was still alive
  • 7:28 a.m. Police made extra patrols at Fayetteville Elementary,
  • 7:44 a.m. Police made extra patrols at Shawswick School
  • 9:21 a.m. Report of a theft of a vehicle in the 1990 block of Spice Valley Road
  • 9:36 a.m. Medical emergency at White River Lodge. A person was suffering chest pains
  • 9:55 a.m. Request for animal control to Mason Street for possible animal neglect
  • 9:59 a.m. Request for animal control to the 30 block of Hillview Lane for a stray cat. The cat was taken to the shelter
  • 10:15 a.m. Report of a juvenile problem in the 310 block of Twin Bridges Road
  • 10:30 a.m. Controlled fire in the 2210 block of Bartlettsville Road
  • 10:34 a.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle in the 4190 State Road 37
  • 10:46 a.m. Medical emergency in the 550 block of Huron Pike. A male as suffering severe stomach pain
  • 11:09 a.m. Domestic fight in the 4120 block of Tunnelton Road. The caller says the neighbors are fighting
  • 11:41 a.m. Report of a fire at Fibertech on Fleenor Road. Mulch and a loader are on fire. At 12:18 p.m. the highway was shut down at the State Road 37/60 junction and State Road 60 West was closed down west of Fibertech. At 12:43 p.m. a medic was requested because a firefighter needs help. At 3:05 p.m. the fire has spread to a structure. At 4:42 p.m. INDOT Was contacted to place signage on State Road 37 to have motorists to slow down. Indiana State Police were alerted to assist. At 6:05 p.m. County highway was alerted to place signage at Mundy Lane and Old State Road 60 West and Fleenor Road and Parks Implement Road. At 11:40 p.m. Firefighters requested a page be sent out requesting additional manpower from each department to respond to command center. Firefighters were requested from Orange County Rural District 2, Brownstown, Vernon and Driftwood Townships in Jackson County. At 3:22 a.m. Fibertech had driver's coming in to remove trucks from the parking lot.
  • 11:46 a.m. A female was on station to reports receiving threats over social media
  • 11:58 a.m. Medical emergency in the 1130 block of Stevens Lane. A female was unconscious
  • 12:01 p.m. Medical emergency at Garden Villa
  • 12:07 p.m. Report of a possible suicidal male in the 4120 block of Tunnelton Road
  • 12:45 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a semi on Sieboldt Quarry Road at Maple Run Estates to Wells Lane
  • 1:25 p.m. Report of a large amount of smoke in the area of Payton Road, North of Bud Stipp Road and could be a possible field fire
  • 1:41 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 920 block of Walkers Drive. A cat set off the alarm
  • 2:06 p.m. A resident in the 600 block of West Frank Street reported the back window of the home was broken. Police will make extra patrols
  • 3:10 p.m. Domestic fight in the 4120 block of Tunnelton Road. The caller says the neighbor's are in a domestic fight again
  • 3:23 p.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle on Kentucky Hollow Road. The caller says a person in a two-tone brown van was in the area and may have tried to lure the child into the vehicle
  • 3:27 p.m. 911 call from a resident in the 200 block of Shawnee Lane reported her nephew is threatening to stab her
  • 3:37 p.m. Citizen dispute in the 370 block of Cobb Lane. The caller says a piece of his bike fell off and a woman picked it up and put it in the back of her truck and won't give it back. Now her husband is involved in the argument
  • 3:58 p.m. Domestic fight in the 910 block of West Main Street. Two males were fighting across from the bakery by a white older car. Neither parties wanted to press charges
  • 4:35 p.m. Report of a suspicious female walking eastbound in the 710 block of West Warren Street wearing a white dress with no shoes
  • 5:25 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 8990 block of State Road 37 at Orscheln
  • 5:59 p.m. Request for animal control in the 2360 block of State Road 446 for a stray cat
  • 6:03 p.m. A woman called saying her ex-husband had several children in the back of his car without seat belts and is leaving from Mitchell to the Springville area in a black Ford Fusion
  • 6:21 p.m. Agency assist at Indian Springs and Watsworth roads in Martin County. No assistance could be provided because Williams VFD were all on the scene of the fire at Fibertech
  • 7:25 p.m. Report of a domestic fight in the 1220 block of Felknor Road
  • 7:44 p.m. A resident in the 100 block of Patton View Road reported her granddaughter is currently in jail stole a firearm and she just found the stolen gun at her house and is scared of the gun and wants an officer to come get it
  • 7:46 p.m. Request for animal control to the 1130 block of Noe Road to check on the welfare of dogs. The dogs were fine
  • 7:47 p.m. Medical emergency in the 480 block of North Franklin in Orleans. A female was unresponsive
  • 8:38 p.m. Traffic stop in the 20 block of North Lincoln Avenue. A female was cited into court on possession of a Schedule II controlled substance. The male driver was cited for operating a vehicle while never licensed
  • 8:51 p.m. Wanted person in the 1700 block of WPA Road
  • 9:06 p.m. Domestic fight in the 180 block of Empire Lane. Department of Child Services alerted
  • 9:07 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1550 block of Erie Church Road. A 26-year-old male was having a psychotic break down
  • 10:22 p.m. Medical emergency in the 890 block of Wells Lane in Springville. An elderly female had fallen
  • 10:31 p.m. Citizen dispute in the 1500 block of Old State Road 60 West. The caller says he and his girlfriend had a verbal fight but didn't request an officer just wanted to advise them of the situation
  • 10:47 p.m. Noise complaint at Persimmon Park Apartment building 6. The caller says someone in the apartment below her keeps banging on the wall and floor waking her child
  • 10:59 p.m. A female in the 820 block of Mill Creek Road reported her boyfriend is beating on the door and threatening her. She then called back at 11:05 p.m. and reported her boyfriend had left the home and was headed to Foam Craft in GMC pickup truck. At 11:39 p.m. the female called back saying the male was back at the home and possibly on the roof. Police say there was no one there or on the roof
  • 12:23 a.m. Medical emergency at the Marion Township Fire Barn
  • 1:26 a.m. Traffic stop at Old State Road 37 and Judah Logan Road
  • 1:57 a.m. A resident in the 400 block of Lafayette Avenue reported finding a used syringe
  • 1:58 a.m. Traffic stop at Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue
  • 2:30 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at the overpass. A female driver was cited into court for driving while driver's license suspended with prior conviction
  • 2:50 a.m. Medical emergency in the 100 block of West Hancock Avenue. A 65-year-old was suffering chest pains

  • 5:11 p.m. Property damage accident at Speedway gas station
  • 9:29 p.m. Property damage accident on Fortner Lane and State Road 37
