  • 1:51 p.m. Skyy Shipman, 19, Bloomington, possession of cocaine or a narcotic drug, public intoxication, possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of a syringe, visiting a common nuisance
  • 1:15 p.m. Stephen Lamb, 34, Paoli, wanted on a warrant for petition to revoke

  • 4:06 p.m. Christopher Jonas, 54, 87 Gun Club Rd., two counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated on a controlled substance

  • 12:12 a.m. Domestic fight in the 1070 block of Breckenridge Road. A male was hitting a female and trying to steal the caller's van
  • 12:42 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at the Marathon station. A male was arrested on drug charges
  • 1:18 a.m. A resident in the 100 block of M Street reported a male runway is at her home. The teen was transported to the Knox County juvenile center
  • 5:17 a.m. Traffic stop in the Wendy's parking lot
  • 5:28 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Main Street
  • 5:41 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and State Road 60
  • 5:52 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at the Marathon station
  • 6:06 a.m. Report of a suspicious male walking eastbound on State Road 158
  • 6:22 a.m. Disabled vehicle at Cassidy Lane and US 50 West
  • 6:39 a.m. Request for animal control to US 50 East at the Jackson County line. The caller says her black pony is lost
  • 7:19 a.m. Police made extra patrols at Fayetteville Elementary
  • 7:31 a.m. Police made extra patrols at Shawswick Schools

  • 7:45 a.m. Report of an erratic driver traveling at a high rate of speed in a blue Ford Focus northbound on State Road 37 north of the Judah light

  • 8:35 a.m. Police made extra patrols on Smith Avenue in Oolitic
  • 8:53 a.m. Request for animal control to the 110 block of East Kenray Lake Road for a dog loose and barking
  • 9:43 a.m. Request for animal control to the 70 block of Robin Hood Estates for dogs running loose
  • 9:46 a.m. Medical emergency in the 210 block of Shawnee Drive. The caller accidentally pressed the emergency alert button
  • 10:15 a.m. Medical emergency in the first block of Moore Lane in Springville
  • 6 a.m. Report of an erratic driver in a dark Chevrolet Colorado traveling at excess of 90 mile per hour westbound on US 50 West. Martin County Police were alerted
  • 10:43 a.m. Document service in the 3920 block of Dixie Highway
  • 10:52 a.m. Request for animal control to the 510 block of Bennett Road. a beagle mix was hit by a vehicle and injured. The dog was not hit but suffers from severe arthritis and lives in the area
  • 11:14 a.m. Warrant service in the 900 block of Wright Street in Mitchell
  • 11:43 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Doc Hamilton Boulevard
  • 12 p.m. Request for animal control to the 230 block of Dogwood Acres. Five puppies were taken to the humane society
  • 12:02 p.m. Police made extra patrols at Walnut Heights in Oolitic
  • 12:09 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 446 and Gilgal Road
  • 12:49 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 446 and Erie Church Road
  • 1:01 p.m. A female was on station to speak to an officer about threatening text messages
  • :25 p.m. Request for animal control to the 1940 block of Port Williams Road for a dog running loose and defecating on the caller's porch
  • 1:31 p.m. Medical emergency at Mitchell McDonald's a 58-year-old female customer was on the floor suffering from low blood sugar
  • 1:33 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and State Road 60 East
  • 1:44 p.m. Controlled fire in the 200 block of Grandma Brown Road
  • 1:52 p.m. Report of a fire in the 1330 block of Sieboldt Quarry Road. The caller says there is smoke coming from the floor. The fire was the result of a bad sump pump
  • 1:59 p.m. Medical emergency in the 330 block of Wade Street. A female is not breathing and is believed to have passed away
  • 2:06 p.m. Report of a missing person from IU Health Hospital. The caller states her grandmother was taken to the emergency room by her healthcare worker between 8:30 to 9 a.m. this morning and now she is missing. The caller says she has contacted all of the local and Bloomington Hospitals and they report her grandmother never arrived at any of their facilities. She called the healthcare workers place of employment and they say they don't know where this worker lives. The healthcare facility reported that the worker is just now leaving the home to transport the woman to the hospital
  • 2:07 p.m. Report of a sex offense against a child in the 210 block of Leatherwood Circle
  • 2:42 p.m. A resident in the 1320 block of Lawrenceport Main reported a male threatened to come to her home and beat up her brother
  • 2:48 p.m. Request for extra patrols in the 1270 block of Cobb Lane because the caller's ex-girlfriend damaged his vehicle
  • 3:01 p.m. A person in the 1990 block of State road 58 West found packets of meth in a rented CAT 320. The drugs were collected and photographed and detectives will l follow up with rental company
  • 3:19 p.m. Report of a large metal object in the roadway at State Road 37 and State Road 60 East. Police were unable to locate the item
  • 4:03 p.m. Report of a theft in the 600 block of 9th Street in Mitchell
  • 4:08 p.m. A woman was on station to speak to an officer about a protective order filed that was dismissed
  • 4:52 p.m. Report of a red Chevrolet truck hauling a trailer with wood and the trailer is overloaded and poses a traffic hazard eastbound on US 50 West
  • 5:05 p.m. Monroe County Police requested animal control to obtain records and to quarantine a dog in the 620 block of Valley Mission Lane after a report of a dog bite
  • 617 p.m. A resident in the 1750 block of State Road 60 East reported a male called her saying her nephew was arrested and needed money and then the male hung up
  • 5:43 p.m. A female was on station to report the violation of a protective order. The teen says she has a protective order against a male and she has an app on her phone called "Afterschool" which she has not opened it for several months, but when she did there was a request from the male on it, but there has been no other attempts to contact the female. She just wanted in the incident logged
  • 6:23 p.m. A resident in the 1050 block of Georgia Firetower Road reported receiving a scam phone call and the caller saying they were going to arrest everyone in the home
  • 9:41 p.m. Request for an officer to the 820 block of Harrodsburg Road after a male reported someone came to his home and threatened him
  • 10:10 p.m. Report of a possible intoxicated female driver with a suspended driver's license in a 2013 Dodge northbound on State Road 37 near 16th Street
  • 10:13 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at the Marathon Station. A citation was issued for driving while driver's license suspended
  • 10:43 p.m. Traffic stop at Orchard and South 9th streets
  • 11:06 p.m. Disabled vehicle at State Road 37 at Storage Express. A tire had blown
  • 11:16 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Teke Burton Drive
  • 11:32 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and US 50 West
  • 11:46 p.m. Medical emergency in the 510 block of South Meridian Road. A 56-year-old person was having trouble breathing

Accidents - April 9

  • 7:23 a.m. Property damage accident in the 980 block of Rueter Road. A driver was cited for driving while driver's license suspended
  • 11:17 a.m. Accident with possible injuries at State Road 158 at Elliott Stone Company
  • 9:09 p.m. Car/deer accident in the PRD parking lot
