  • 10:10 p.m. Brandon Super, 41, 621 R St., possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, unlawful possession of a syringe
  • 8:14 p.m. Marlen Johnson, 33, Tunnelton, wanted on a warrant in another county
  • 3:35 p.m. Julie Sowders, 37, Owensburg, wanted on a warrant for petition to revoke
  • 3:01 p.m. Rhett Lewis, 39, Mitchell, public intoxication, possession of marijuana

  • 9 p.m. Report of a suspicious person in the 620 block of R Street
  • 8:14 p.m. Agency assist at 29th Street and Eastern Avenue. A person was arrested
  • 7:39 p.m. A person was on station to report a theft
  • 7:29 p.m. Animal problem at Michael Avenue and Plaza Drive
  • 7:16 p.m. Traffic stop at M and 16th streets
  • 8:57 p.m. 911 investigation in the 300 block of N Street
  • 6:33 p.m. Traffic stop at Patrick Robbins Way and State Road 37
  • 5:38 p.m. Medical emergency in the 400 block of J Street
  • 5:23 p.m. Domestic fight in the 1800 block of O Street
  • 4:59 p.m. Suspicious person at Kenny Simpson Lane and 39th Street

  • 3:38 p.m. 911 investigation in the 500 block of Southwood Drive

  • 3:35 p.m. Request for an officer to the probation department for a person wanted on a warrant. A female was arrested
  • 3:01 p.m. Theft at White River Lodge
  • 3:01 p.m. Report of an intoxicated male at 16th and K streets. A male was arrested
  • 2:51 p.m. A person was on station about a civil dispute
  • 2:35 p.m. Noise complaint at Shawnee Drive and 29th Street
  • 2:33 p.m. Request for a welfare check at Advanced Auto Parts on 16th Street
  • 1:43 p.m. Domestic fight at l and 17th streets
  • 1 p.m. Report of a suspicious person in the 3000 block of 29th Street
  • 11:27 a.m. Medical emergency at Centerstone. An AMR ambulance responded
  • 11:26 a.m. 911 investigation in the 1800 block of 4th Street
  • 11:21 a.m. An information report was taken on station
  • 10:41 a.m. Unwanted person in the 100 lock of Parkwood Drive
  • 9:57 a.m. Civil dispute in the 10 block of Murray Court
  • 8:27 a.m. Alarm sounding at Bath & Body Works. It was a false alarm
  • 7:54 a.m. Fire alarm sounding at IU Health Hospital. It was a false alarm
  • 6:22 a.m. 911 investigation at White River Lodge
  • 3:15 a.m. Agency assist at Lawrenceport Road and State Road 60 East
  • 1:38 a.m. Suspicious person in the 2020 block of Plaza Drive

  • 9:47 p.m. Agency assist at State Road 37 and Doc Hamilton Boulevard
  • 9:45 p.m. Unwanted person in the 120 block of Forest Park Drive

Arrests - Feb. 7

  • 7:28 a.m. Jordan Brooks, 27, Mitchell, two counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia
  • 9:33 a.m. Trevor Chancey, 20, Paoli, wanted on a warrant for petition to revoke
  • 3:12 p.m. Brandy Jones, 37, homeless, wanted on a warrant for petition to revoke
  • 4:25 p.m. Kody Moody, 23, 1817 13th St., possession of meth

Incidents - Feb. 7

  • 12:14 a.m. Medical emergency at Lakeside Estates. A 53-year-old male was unconscious
  • 12:19 a.m. Police made extra patrols at Springville Elementary School
  • 12:46 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 near the junction
  • 12:59 a.m. Medical emergency in the 160 block of Dale Street. A person was having trouble breathing
  • 1:09 a.m. Report of a suspicious person at the Marathon Station. A male was arrested after police found drugs in his vehicle. He was issued a summons to appear in court. No name was listed on the log
  • 1:28 a.m. Report of an unwanted female wearing pajamas at a home in the 160 block of Dale Street. The caller says the female appears intoxicated or on drugs is beating on his doors. The female's mother picked her up
  • 1:38 a.m. A resident in the 100 block of Cambridge Square reported hearing noises outside of her apartment
  • 3:46 a.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of Lafayette Avenue
  • 5:18 a.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle Lawrenceport Road. The vehicle was burned down even the tires and the vehicle was not there before today
  • 5:37 a.m. Disabled vehicle on State Road 37 and Old State Road 37. An ambulance was requested after finding a person unresponsive. The ambulance was then disregarded after police determined the male was intoxicated
  • 6:41 a.m. Disabled vehicle on State Road 37 at Stevens Lane
  • 7:03 p.m. Medical emergency in the 3130 block of State Road 60 West at Shelby Trucking. a male had been in the truck for as long as three days and he has no hoe, but didn't know when he was last on the road
  • 7:39 a. m. Disabled vehicle at State Road 37 and Stevens Lane
  • 10:03 a.m. Animal control to the 480 block of Yockey Estate because of the neighbor's cats and dogs
  • 11:29 a.m. Medical emergency at Centerstone. A person was suffering heart problem
  • 11:49 a.m. Report of an erratic or possibly intoxicated driver in a white Oldsmobile Alero on west US 50 East from Plaza Motel. The driver just pulled into Farmers Market
  • 12:06 p.m. Report of the theft of a vehicle in the 810 block of West Oak Street
  • 12:07 p.m. Request for animal control to the 3720 block of Leatherwood Road for stray dogs
  • 12:16 p.m. Controlled fire on Stumphole Bridge Road.
  • 12:40 p.m. Controlled fire on US 50 East, a half a mile past D&D Star Stop
  • 12:57 p.m. Report of a suspicious person knocking on doors in the 2920 block of 29th Street
  • 1:02 p.m. Report that IU Health emergency room physicians are treating a 26-year-old male who has a bullet in his foot. The incident happened on Middle Leesville Road. It was an accidental shooting
  • 1:10 p.m. Report of a suspicious person in the 780 block of Rocky Creek East. The caller says his three children, ages 13, 11, 8 are home alone and there is a person outside the home peeping in the windows
  • 1:20 p.m. Medical emergency in the 9200 block of Tunnelton Road. A 60-year-old male was suffering stomach and side pain
  • 1:59 p.m. Medical emergency in the 970 block of Pleasant Run Road. The caller says her husband has fallen and hurt his hand
  • 2:16 p.m. A resident in the 1480 block of Wesley Chapel Road was on station to report her mother was missing
  • 2:26 p.m. An officer was at a home in the 520 block of Oolitic Road and requested an additional officer after finding a firearm with the serial number filed off
  • 3:14 p.m. Warrant service in the 700 block of Crawford Street
  • 3:53 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Stevens Lane
  • 3:57 p.m. 911 call from the 500 block of Southwood Drive. The caller says she didn't have an emergency but wanted to check her device
  • 4:01 p.m. Traffic stop at Doc Hamilton Boulevard and Rabbitsville Road
  • 4:24 p.m. Traffic stop at South Sixth Street and West Grissom Avenue
  • 4:38 p.m. Disabled vehicle on US 50 East at Tabernacle Church
  • 4:43 p.m. Domestic fight in the 2550 block of Ramsey Ridge Road. The caller says a male is yelling at a woman and two kids. Police say the wife was upset because her husband was stepping out on her. The wife is going to leave the home for today
  • 4:49 p.m. Traffic stop at Grissom Avenue and North Meridian Road. The driver was cited for false or fictitious license plates and failure to register
  • 5 p.m. Report that someone had lost two large bags of trash in the middle of the road on US 50 East near the Dollar Store and two people are running out into the highway to pick it up and are causing a traffic hazard
  • 5:42 p.m. Traffic stop at Teke Burton Drive and West Main Street
  • 5:43 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 610 block of Guthrie Road. It was a false alarm set off by the cleaning service
  • 6:05 p.m. Request for animal control to the 1320 block of Grindstone Hollow Road. The neighbor's dog got loose and killed one of her cats
  • 6:2 in the 1 p.m. A female in the 800 block of West Grissom Avenue reported her son is making threats towards her because she won't give him the last $50 from his SSI check to purchase alcohol. The male has left the home and is walking to the apartments on Warren Street. Police will make extra patrols
  • 6:59 p.m. A caller in the 100 block of Brick Street reported her niece received a threat today via SnapChat from another female. Police spoke to the female's father. He told police he had spoke to his daughter and she was not concerned about the threat
  • 7 p.m. Construction workers on State Road 58 between State Road 45 and State Road 54 reported a semi, a white day cab Freightliner or International pulling a white hopper bottom grain trailer has been going through the construction zone every day between noon and 5 p.m. and traveling more than 60 miles per hours and is putting the lives of the construction workers in danger and is requesting an officer to assist
  • 7:28 p.m. Report of a fire in the 670 block of Dixie Highway. The fire is a controlled burn
  • 7:29 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Woodville Road
  • 7:47 p.m. A resident in the 1070 block of Breckenridge Road reported his adult grandson is threatening to shoot him and there was an active domestic fight going on at this time
  • 8:18 p.m. Police gave a male a courtesy ride to the 40 block of Kenwood Addition Road
  • 8:07 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37, south of Holiday Drive-In
  • 8:07 p.m. Report of a suspicious male walking south at Hearth and Pleasant Run roads. The male told police he had been involved in an earlier domestic fight on Ramsey Ridge Road and was walking to his mothers. The man refused a ride
  • 8:18 p.m. Traffic stop at Doc Hamilton Boulevard, west of the bridge
  • 8:29 p.m. Traffic stop at Frank Street and North Meridian Road
  • 8:41 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37, south of Oolitic
  • 8:58 p.m. Lift assist in the 2220 block of Sieboldt Quarry Road. A 75-year-old male had fallen and can't get up
  • 9:15 p.m. Agency assist at Rabbitsville Road and Dale Street
  • 9:16 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37, south of the Oolitic stoplight
  • 9:26 p.m. Traffic stop at at Dale Street and Rabbitsville Road. The driver was cited for expired plates, no other information was listed on the log
  • 9:56 p.m. Warrant service in the JayC parking lot in Mitchell. A male was arrested
  • 10:29 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1060 block of Butterfly Lane. A 70-year-old person had fallen
  • 10:49 p.m. Agency assist at Kelso Road and State Road 60 East
  • 10:53 p.m. Traffic stop at at the flea market on Oolitic Road
  • 11:14 p.m. Traffic stop at East Oolitic Road and Denison Street. The vehicle was searched for drugs. Police say the driver had been arrested in Jackson County today on a meth charge and had bonded out
  • 11:25 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Parks Implement Road
  • 11:35 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 60 East, near Mad Cow towing
  • 11:49 p.m. Traffic stop at North Sixth and West Main streets in Mitchell

Accidents - Feb. 7

  • 2:41 a.m. Property damage accident on State Road 37 and State Road 60 East. A tanker truck slid off the roadway
  • 3:13 a.m. Accident with possible injuries on State Road 60 East at Spring Mill State Park
  • 6:48 a.m. Car/deer accident in the 2620 block of State Road 58 West
  • 11:52 a.m. Property damage accident at 14th Street at the cemetery
  • 11:16 a.m. Property damage accident in the 3350 block of Old State Road 37
  • 6:32 p.m. Car/deer accident on State Road 37 at Arby's

Mitchell Police Department

Arrests - Feb. 7

  • 10:36 p.m. Rickie Pulley, 29, 4189 State Road 60 West, wanted on a warrant for failure to appear
