  • 4:10 p.m. Ty York, 38, 715 26th St., operating a vehicle while never licensed, other unlisted charges
  • 6:38 p.m. Rhett Lewis, 39, Mitchell, public intoxication

Infractions - Feb. 2

  • 3:35 p.m. Coleman Speer, 20, Bedford, speeding
  • 5:04 p.m. Larry Padgett, 46, Orleans, no registration or license plate when required
  • 8:20 p.m. Dustin Jackson, 22, Bedford, driving with a suspended license, disregarding an automatic signal

  • 7:51 p.m. 911 investigation at Lincoln Avenue and John Williams Boulevard
  • 6:39 p.m. Agency assist in the 2640 block of Rariden Hill
  • 5:43 p.m. Traffic stop at M and 17th streets
  • 5:24 p.m. Request for an officer to the 1410 block of 18th Street
  • 4:13 p.m. Traffic stop at 8th Street and John Williams Boulevard
  • 4:04 p.m. Medical emergency in the 2500 block of 16th Street. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded
  • 1:45 p.m. Information report taken in the 2110 block of 27th Street
  • 1:24 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1820 block of 11th Street. An AMR ambulance responded
  • 12:47 p.m. Medical emergency in the 2210 block of M Street. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded
  • 12:17 p.m. Domestic fight in the 1000 block of P Street
  • 11:09 a.m. Alarm sounding in the 1010 block of O Street. It was a false alarm
  • 10:12 a.m. Information report was taken on station
  • 8:01 a.m. Alarm sounding at Fresenius Medical Center. It was a false alarm
  • 2:28 a.m. Alarm sounding at Citgo. It was a false alarm
  • 2:06 a.m. Domestic fight in the 210 block of P Street
  • 1:43 a.m. Open door found at Lowes
  • 1:04 a.m. Report of a battery at Downtown Tavern

Accidents - Feb. 4

  • 6:11 p.m. Property damage accident at State Road 37 and US 50 West
  • 11:35 p.m. Property damage accident at 16th and J streets

Arrests - Feb 3

  • 3:30 p.m. Marlo Johnson, 41, Bloomington, dealing meth, possession of meth, possession of a narcotic drug, possession of marijuana, visiting a common nuisance, wanted on a warrant in another county

Lawrence County Sheriff's Department

Arrests - Feb. 3

  • 9:45 a.m. Travis Todd, 43, Norman, two counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, resisting law enforcement
  • 5:19 p.m. Jordan Williams, 21, Bloomington, operating a vehicle while never licensed, possession of marijuana

  • 10:22 a.m. Carl Mathis Jr., 32, 70 Leesville Loop, wanted on a petition to revoke probation.
  • 3:05 p.m. Steven Coffin, 35, 3409 Washington Ave., wanted on a warrant from another county.
  • 6:20 p.m. Paul Perry, no age listed, Bedford, cited into court for possession of less than 30 grams of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia
  • 7:25 p.m. Jonathan Moore, 32, Bedford, cited into court for possession of less than 30 grams of marijuana
  • 10:56 p.m. Zachary Thompson, 21, 646 Harold Smith Road, wanted on a warrant for petition to revoke probation

Infractions - Feb. 2

  • 4:08 p.m. Braden Terry, no age listed, Bedford, seat belt violation.
  • 4:31 p.m. Ashlen Osborne, 19, Smithville, speeding.
  • 7:25 p.m. Heather Parker, 33, Bedford, driving with a suspended license.

Incidents - Feb. 4

  • 12:03 a.m. Police made extra patrols on Smith Avenue in Oolitic
  • 12:20 a.m. Traffic stop at Oolitic Road at the storage buildings
  • 1:56 a.m. Disabled vehicle at State Road 37 and Dixie Highway
  • 2:07 a.m. A resident in the 210 block of P Street reported a male was at her house and refusing to leave
  • 2:45 a.m. Police made extra patrols at Cresthaven Cemetery,
  • 3:19 a.m. A male in the 3310 block of Boltinghouse Road in Bloomington reported his dog was not being taken care of. Monroe County police were alerted
  • 3:33 a.m. Disabled vehicle across from the Circle K in Bedford
  • 4:07 a.m. Request for a welfare check on a person walking at US 50 East and Limestone Run Road. The person had found a ride
  • 4:16 a.m. Report of an armed robbery in the 60 block fo Leesville Loop. The caller says two males wearing hoods, handkerchiefs and gloves left in a vehicle towards Fort Ritner. The male could not identify the vehicle
  • 4:52 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Woodville Road
  • 7:08 a.m. Traffic stop at Doc Hamilton Boulevard and Rabbitsville Road. A citation was issued for false or fictitious registration. No other information was listed on the log
  • 7:22 a.m. Medical emergency in the 160 block of Maple Leaf Road. A 78-year-old female had fallen
  • 8:37 a.m. Alarm sounding at Fibertech. It was a false alarm
  • 9:57 a.m. House fire at 124 Sunny Slopes Circle. Marshall, Perry, Oolitic and Indian Creek Fire Volunteer Fire Departments responded. The American Red Cross was also on the scene to assist the family
  • 10:48 a.m. Medical emergency in the 1700 block of WPA Road. A 46-year-old male was possibly suffering from alcohol poisoning
  • 11:04 a.m. Traffic stop at Hancock Avenue and North 5th Street in Mitchell
  • 11:40 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at Storage Express. The driver was issued a citation for driving while driver's license suspended and expired license plates. No other information was listed on the log
  • 12:07 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at the Sinclair station
  • 12:44 p.m. Medical emergency in the 2210 block of M Street. A 74-year-old female was ill
  • 12:50 p.m. Disabled vehicle at State Road 37 and Stevens Lane
  • 1:13 p.m. Panic alarm sounding in the 60 block of Williams Street. It was a false alarm
  • 1:21 p.m. A male was on station to report a burglary in the 990 block of Burton Cemetery Road
  • 1:21 p.m. Traffic stop at 16th Street and Edgewood Drive
  • 1:36 p.m. Controlled fire in the 5200 block of Old State Road 37
  • 1:54 p.m. A resident in the 1010 block of West Warren Street reported they were being threatened and requested to speak to an officer
  • 2:13 p.m. Domestic fight in the 2210 block of South Leatherwood Road
  • 2:14 p.m. Report of an electrical hazard at Huron School. The caller says there was several wires on the ground on the left side of the school with trash piled over them and a light to keep it warm and the caller is concerned it could cause a fire
  • 2:58 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 1260 block of Hunters Creek Road. It was a false alarm
  • 4:12 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a silver Volkswagen at the Fayetteville Store headed towards Williams. The caller says the driver is possibly intoxicated and was falling all over the place while getting gas
  • 4:40 p.m. Lift assist in the 380 block of Liberty Bell Road. A 78-year-old male had fallen
  • 5 p.m. Countywide Volunteer Fire Department radio test
  • 5:27 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a green Ford truck tailgating the caller on US 50 Eastbound from Tunnelton Road
  • 5:45 p.m. Request for animal control to the 100 block of Main Street in Mitchell. The caller says a duck and several dogs were outside the home and appear to be neglected
  • 6:21 p.m. Report of an open door at an abandoned home in the 420 block of Guthrie Road. Police found a television and lights on. No one was inside The front door was locked and secured by police. There was no sign of forced entry
  • 7:44 p.m. Residential entry in the 380 block of South Meridian Road. Two people had illegally entered a home looking for drugs
  • 7:57 p.m. Disabled vehicle east of the 360 block of East Oolitic Road. Three cars were stuck on the hill leading down the bridge
  • 8:57 p.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle in the back parking lot at Wendy's in Mitchell
  • 9:03 p.m. Domestic fight in the 2210 block of South Leatherwood Road. The caller says the male had left the home and the female who was involved was now back home and says the male took her car keys when he left
  • 9:31 p.m. Lift assist in the 800 block of Old State Road 37. A person had fell in their living room and needs assistance getting up
  • 11:21 p.m. Medical emergency in the 820 block of Ramsey Ridge Road. A male was not feeling well

Accidents - Feb. 4

  • 6:16 a.m. Property damage accident at Sportsman Club Road, near Lakewood Drive. A vehicle slid into a tree
  • 1:38 p.m. Property damage accident in the 210 block of Sunny Slopes Circle. Firefighters at the scene of the house fire believes one of their private vehicles were backed into by a responding fire truck
  • 3:49 p.m. Accident with possible injuries in the 5870 block of Vinegar Hill Road
  • 6:10 p.m. Slife off with minor injuries at State Road 37 overpass
  • 6:37 p.m. Accident with possible injuries in the 2640 block of Rariden Hill Road
  • 6:53 p.m. Accident with possible injuries in the 3920 block of Dixie Highway
  • 7:08 p.m. Property damage accident on State Road 37, south of Teke Burton Drive. A vehicle had went over the embankment. A male stopped and transported the female driver and her four small children to the Marathon Station to stay warm and wait for police
  • 7:52 p.m. Property damage accident on Tunnelton Road, south of Duncan Hill. The driver of a Jeep Liberty lost control on the snow-covered road
  • 8:23 p.m. Property damage accident on State Road 37, south of Speedway with several cars off the roadway
  • 8:52 p.m. Accident with possible injuries at State Road 37, south of Park Implements.

Arrests - Feb. 3

  • 3:45 a.m. James Flanders, 50, Bloomington, possession of meth.

Arrests - Feb. 2

  • 7:22 p.m. Robert Taylor, 61, 320 N 6th St., wanted on a warrant for failure to appear in court
  • 8:55 p.m. Robert Henderson II, 32, 450 E. Vine St., possession of meth, unlawful possession of a syringe
